@sshookum that's a possibility, it may be a more efficient or cost effective way to store the energy generated by alternative energy methods. Unfortunately the hydrocarbon industry has a monopoly on energy and government
-Hello 2012 here, 2007 is full of crap. This will never be sold commercially.
- Ni Hao! 2100 here, year of the monkey! ^^, Don't listen to 2012. The oil is depleted and EVERYTHING is fueled by The United Chinese World Trade Nation. The owner of this patent. Zai jian!
In typical TV news fashion, nowhere is stated how much energy is going into the salt water via the radio transmitter in the white boxes vs how much energy is released from the flame as heat. So we have no way of knowing if this is a worthwhile energy conversion or not.
This man is honestly a great person... Devoting his time to help cancer patients and then making an invention of running a car or natural recources. All this would do is help this world we live in.. He deserves 10x more credit then just a "thats amazing" god gave him this natural gift to help people and have an open mind and he used it for the good and to help people. God bless you.
If even people don't be stupid and order to every government to lest us using this technology and every other who are finally hidden to population, we just now can have better world, but people are so stupid for try to stop to act like a cow and obey to government and finally if the world its not change today for free car, plane, boat, home power and home water heating, its not the fault of this great inventor/discoverer, its the fault of the people in the world who don't protest against leaders
What's fucked up about this, is that it can be actually used as a substitute for gasoline. Hell, Nikolia Tesla created a device that creates electricity from the heat in the air.
This nor Telsa's invention will never see the light of day again, because Compainies like Cheveron, Shell, etc, are literally squeezing every last dollar out of oil.
Sea water is the fuel my ass, what powers up the radio transmitter? It must run on something, he did not discover free energy, he is just transferring energy from one form to an other!!!!
and now john is dead in a car accident my ass. some oil industralist killed him and now where is the machine. in the basement at mit... oh my god where is justice for the people.......
real enough to create this fine news report 5 years ago .... more amazing I think than the report itself, is how it all seems to have disappeared now? where is the tech? what happened to the guy? why are we still buying gasoline for $4 a gallon and murdering civilians around the world to make sure we don't run out?
The people who live here in the US need to keep these projects completely open to the public and show everything they do in large numbers or we will always be giving out money to the gas companies and never advance in technology like we should be thanks to our government and oil distributors.
No, no, no. The fuel is not "nothing more than salt water" the real fuel is all the electricity used to produce the radio waves that make the salt water "burn". Creating hydrogen and oxygen from water through electricity is an old process, it is called electrolysis.
@bigl4085 Pneumonia got him. Most great inventors die of Heart failure for some reason. This time I may have been legit. But, I don't know, can't say for certain.
@AyeAyeLtd The reason to that is, cuz they don't want to change the world.. They'd prefer to everybody have to pay for oil (keep control on mass people), then to give out... Well yea, salt water is practically free.
Weren't we already promised a hydrogen fuel cell from the Bush Admin years ago? Oh yeah, it was an impossibly expensive idea that would never be feasible.
"I don’t think it makes any net energy: you have to use energy to break the water apart into hydrogen & oxygen. Then you get the energy back by burning these gases which turn back into water.
Some MIT chemistry prof has a way to use solar energy to break water apart, but that’s converting free solar energy. The radio waves this guy is using aren’t free."
theres alredy eletrical cars that do more km with less cost than gas cars...do u see those in the street? cause I only saw once in discovery channel...
Ypu recharge it much less times than put gasoline also..
@SPMFlLMS1 more like 100 years later, oil only started being used in 1800s in the industrial revolution and its only taken 200 years since then for us to have oil problems, itll be less than half that time if water started being our fuel because we need energy alot more now than we did then therefor it will be much sooner this time, and using up an element we cant survive without is just stupid.
It uses more energy to run the RF beam than the energy you get from the fire so the process of burning actually creates a deficit. It could be used for desalinisation though
This is not suppressed technology. While John Kanzius died in 2009 (I think of cancer), his idea of using nano-particles to kill cancer cells is (last I heard) being researched by multiple universities.
As far as burning salt water... it turned out it took a lot more energy to produce the radio frequency waves that get applied to the water than the energy you get out our of the flame from it. So sorry guys, but that one will never happen.
lol what about the energy spent to make the radio waves where would you get it from? isn't it more than the energy produced by the burning salt? I bet it is.
This is only impressive to someone who has NO knowledge of chemistry, biology or physics. What you are seeing is the polarization of ions in the salt water caused by radio waves. A charge is generated in the water that separates the chloride and sodium ions, where they cause local changes in pH when they react to the water, producing sodium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid. The polarity reverses, the NaOH and HCI recombine and the red flame is the hydrogen reacting with the oxygen. That's it.
@NsaneNtheNbrane ...The energy of the flame is the energy of the radio waves converted to chemical energy, then to thermal energy. No new energy is released or created. And for the cancer claim, the inventor never explains why the nano particles only seek out the cancer cells and not the normal cells, despite the fact that cancer cells are more than 99% similar to normal cells(which is why your immune system can't seek them out on its own). This is a variant of the Rife machine scam.
It is neat to see water burning and all, but way, WAY more energy goes into producing the intense radio waves than comes out of that test tube. It's a safe bet to say the processes at work are far less efficient than even electrolysis.
Was 2007 what the heck happened to this? Bought by the military or by oil co. to keep it away from market?
@makahuro have you tested it, can you see actually derive the intensity from this video? LOL! Anyway if it couldn't be used in a conventional ICE there are other ways that could be used to generate enough electricity to have a portable mini powerplant for electric cars, not to mention it could be used in a similar way to provide power in homes. Your nay-saying is negative and nonsensical
The reason you will never see this is because the patent was bought & will not be used . They are making so much money off of Oil why would they let this get into everybodys hands? It really is that simple I believe
Uses more energy than it creates. And - if you converted all the water on the planet to carbon pollutants - well, the environmental effects are just nightmarish to think of.
Just how much sea water would one have to cart for lets say a car engine, would it be much bigger than a gas tank? You still have to cart fuel around no matter how cheap it is.Still not very efficient.
So...what powers the radio wave generator this seems like a very stupid news story. That's like putting tin foil into a microwave and saying that tin is a fuel.
Like the inventor said ," if some company wants to buy up my invention thats ok, " i can tell you, some oil company will buy up his invention like all the others and it will be locked away in a safe somewhere and we'll never hear from it again. As for his treatment of cancer , some medical company will buy that up too then they'll charge the cancer victim 50,000 dollars if they want to live. So the next time you hear a story like this dont expect it to benefit you or society in any way.
@OttoKrinklebottom I'm no business expert but why would you buy a competitor's product only to ban it, instead of just acquiring it and getting a head start in producing and selling the product?
If it truly was revolutionary then an oil company would make a big fortune. They're all about money as the bottom line as you say, so they should be able to find away to monetize it.
@ccricers I respect your point of view my friend but i belive your being a tad nieve. How would an oil company buy an idea and produce energy that cost next to nothing to generate and then sell it for a profit. Even if it sold that free energy at one tenth of current energy costs there would still be a public outcry at paying for somthing that was freely obtainable in the first place. The big oil companies would go out of business in the blink of an eye. Big oil, BIG profits.
they already have cures for alot of things. sad they wont release it or free fuel...they need power and population reduction. if ''they'' really told us what they have what they made what they have done..''they'' would loose all power. and that just cant happen.
One problem with this broadcast is they don't talk about what it takes to power the radio waves in the first place. In order to tell how efficient the burner is, we have to know how much power it'll need, not just how much it can produce. Thumbs up to keep this comment where people can see it and can respond!
Whats the frequency, how much power, what's the net gain / loss
This is very interesting stuff

That is, sadly, true. Maybe this is a part of what the protesters are all about, even though they don't know it yet?

@OttoKrinklebottom I'm no business expert but why would you buy a competitor's product only to ban it, instead of just acquiring it and getting a head start in producing and selling the product?
If it truly was revolutionary then an oil company would make a big fortune. They're all about money as the bottom line as you say, so they should be able to find away to monetize it.
ccricers 3 months ago
@ccricers I respect your point of view my friend but i belive your being a tad nieve. How would an oil company buy an idea and produce energy that cost next to nothing to generate and then sell it for a profit. Even if it sold that free energy at one tenth of current energy costs there would still be a public outcry at paying for somthing that was freely obtainable in the first place. The big oil companies would go out of business in the blink of an eye. Big oil, BIG profits.

so this exists and people are still dying from cancer and fuel is still almost $4.00 a gallon?
Torrmac 4 months ago
Yeah but... How much energy does it take to emit the radio waves? More than the little motor puts out I am sure
asknudsen 4 months ago
they already have cures for alot of things. sad they wont release it or free fuel...they need power and population reduction. if ''they'' really told us what they have what they made what they have done..''they'' would loose all power. and that just cant happen.

That's exactly what I was thinking, too. What if the entire ocean was set on fire? We won't need a cure for cancer at that point.
t1m1976 4 months ago
One problem with this broadcast is they don't talk about what it takes to power the radio waves in the first place. In order to tell how efficient the burner is, we have to know how much power it'll need, not just how much it can produce. Thumbs up to keep this comment where people can see it and can respond!
