Tutorial Photoshop: Manipulate Photos for Advertising

Hi, awesome work. But I am having trouble using feather tool, I am not able to get gradient effect using it, for me after selecting feather radius and hitting done, nothing happens, I think I am not doing it in a correct way. I am using PS CS3.

@ashvns04 Sorry I'm late replying your comment.. Actually in this video I use photoshop CS5. Even if you use CS3, I think it should be no problem. Maybe numbers on radius feather is too small or too large? Or maybe there is problem in your layer? If you still haven't found the solution, you can try using a gradient tool or brush tool to generate such colors.. Sorry if I can't helping all that much..

@melzcitify Hey! Nice work mate, seriusly. But its a bit strange for me, i have the same problem as the dude over here. So im wondering, how do you colorise the layer after you have set the collor b3d8f3? I see you dont press anything, you just holding the mouse over the layer and then it gets colorised. How do you do it? Because i think the feather dosent work when i use the paint pucket tool to colorise the layer..
