Hip Hop has been around for decades. It started out as a fun dance type of music, nothing too heavy with meaning. Then Hip Hop became more mainstream and people take it too serious. I think you make some valid points on Hip Hop and respect.

I was commenting on a microcosm of the hip hop community, but if one part suffers, we all suffer. I just wanted to reach out and spread a positive message to anyone who identifies with the hip hop community.
