  • I thought an inverter would burn up higher voltage battery chargers? I have a neuton and have been worried about plugging it into my RV's inverter (I have a couple solar panels) for this reason. Have you had any problems plugging in your charger?

  • we're mostly using the inverter to charge the smaller 18 & 24V batteries that run our trimmers and blowers. I haven't used the solar unit/inverter to charger the neuton batteries because i have enough fully charged neuton batteries when we start a day to finish without having to recharge. the neuton would take too long to recharge through this setup as well. the smaller 18-24Vs can recharge on a fast charger in about an hour.

  • @rhauser17 That makes sense. Oh well, that's easier to deal with although you could use a pure sine wave inverter. The neutons take so long to charge (thanks to their AGM batteries) it wouldn't make sense anyway. Your business is a really cool concept! Best of luck to you!

  • sorry..i guess your idea of a yard, and mine is complety different..here where i live in the south it takes an hour to mow a yard, and i have a 50 inch zero turn. with a push mower it would take all day.

  • to bad you can only do like 2 yards a day..your gonna need another panel bro

  • thanks for the comment but the model is working great for service of 8-10 yards a day...depending on lawn size, of course. The mowers handle 4 average size lawns (3-5k sq ft) on one battery and we have multiple batteries. Plus we can recharge them during the day from the solar charging system.
