... A very brave young man... Wow, and I think he's so sexy too... I fell in love with the way he talks and the way he moves his beautiful, masculine hands and forearms (very sexy) :D ... Where can I get me one of those?! :D
I admire your bravery to come out to everyone. You did the right thing! It is very important to be true to yourself and accept who you are. It shows the kind of man that you are. You are an honest man. The more people that come out the more the world sees that gay people are normal people and that being gay is ok. by the way, you are very cute also. :)
Zack's story and his telling of it was compelling. It sounds like he is more satisfied with his life, now rather than before. If nothing else, that is the silver lining and a big one at that. I predict that Zack's life will only continue to get better.
We all know the bravery it took for you to "just be who you are". Of course you are stronger and better off for it....but that doesn't make the hurt go away...the fear less intense......and it certainly doesn't make a "right" out of the many "wrongs" you had to endure. You are a special man. You totally deserve a BJ on the White House Lawn.
Zack, you are amazing, it is so strange how close you live to me, I am in Minneapolis, MN, and we have protections in our state against firing someone because they are gay. You have helped more people in ND than you think and because of people like you being out, things will eventually change there. Keep strong and being PROUD of who you are!!!
I'm gay and also living in Grand Forks. My friends know but one of my employers doesn't, and that's because I'm pretty sure I would get fired. I hear people say negative things about gay people pretty regularly at work, but I can't afford to not have that job. I was also really upset when the bill failed to pass.
You paid a huge price for standing up, and the scar will stay in your mind forever.
BUT you have relieved yourself from the preassure of living a lie, which will lighten your mind forever. You have also helped people in your neighbourhood. You will not know that now, but their stories will come back to you in the distant future.
Scary that in America just for loving someone you can get fired from your job. Cruel world..

@jdrock0 TIme to come out of the closet, buddy: we ALL know that only the closet cases bother attacking people for their sexuality.

What an amazing human being! Like Joel Burns, this young man makes me proud to say, "He's on my team."

Zack, I'd welcome you as my neighbor any day.

You are a brave man, and a much better person than those who discriminate against you. Try to focus on the positive.
