Islam is a totalitarian ideology. Apostasy for example, is 'punishable' by death. Imagine for a moment that a political party had death for the crime of leaving that party and joining another. Would we accept this?. Of course not. Sharia is a medieval / bronze age mentality that must never be accepted in the UK.
Instead of allowing even a limited practice of Sharia in countries like Australia and the US which already have fairly comprehensive secular laws, we should be asking these questions

The problem I have found is that if I speak out about Sharia is the far left who brand me a racist. These people are teachers, doctors and friends. And if there was a creator we still can't be sure that this same being spoke to prophets or delivered commandments (or that all prophets are true). There are similar instructions to kill non-believers in both the Bible and the Quran (e.g. Sura 9.5), and there are other disagreeable passages besides.

Whether the rate of Islam's growth is more related to a lack of birth control rather than the attraction of converts, I can't say, but I'm also aware of many people who have left Islam, and I dare say more would if it were not tantamount to suicide.

@omerkha People of different religions and sects seem to be better at coexisting in secular countries which do not let any one religion interfere in government. Only a secular democratic state can really uphold freedom of religions, so people can believe according to their individual conviction. This is all the better reason to uphold secularism.

@omerkha Not everyone has the same view on the purpose of life. Maybe we are here to explore, not to submit. Great civilizations have come and gone that never even heard of Islam. If Muhammad had been an Inca in Peru, and told stories about one God and Adam and Jesus and Moses (despite having never had contact with Jews or Christians), then it would have seemed he had miraculous knowledge. As it is, neither the Bible nor the Quran contain no knowledge beyond what men of the time knew already.

How Iron can derive from beyond the world more than any other element, when the world itself is largely made of iron (both the outer and inner core), you will have to explain, too. Iron is also found in plants and animals.

@omerkha Everything came from outer space before the formation of the earth, but the fact remains that iron is about the most plentiful metal element on or in the planet, and the sixth most abundant element in the whole universe. The only iron on earth that can really be called extra terrestial comes from metiorites, such as the one you Muslims see fit to kiss. This space iron was not unknown to the ancients.

In the first case the German judge acted against the German constitution (Grundgesetz). Whoever decided that way should at least lose his/her job. It clearly says in the constitution that all laws have respect it and are bound by it. In another paragraph it states that everybody has the right of physical integrity (including no wife beating allowed). No exceptions for any human being (with religion explicitly stated). Every judge has to know that as the basis for all of the laws in Germany.

Sharia law was discontinued the moment the Ottoman empire "coded" the law by the last caliphate and ended in 1924.
Implimenting a law that preserves life, is fair with equality will take 100 years.
The Qu'ran has over hundreds of contradictions against the Sharia Law and you are unable to change it. Why? "It's coded!".
First get a caliphate, correct, amend the Sharia laws and then come back with something that can rival the law that is not racist and not upheld by the laws of the past.
