i remember going on this ride.It was my first ride at six flags and i loved it.after i would keep on going on and on and on.All the times i would arrive at six flags that would be the first one i ride and i've been to six flags a billion times.Love it.Sucks they closed it. R.i.p log jammer. :(

the water is way to high and around 2:44 is when they start to almost go over he side so id it does go over the side they can get hurt or even killed ;/

@jennifer10139 Rides like this have a hard time being relocated because of the intense landscape. The relocation would have to make adjustments or match the same landscape that this ride currently sits on now.

The Revlolution open in 1976. Also when the Revolution was featured in the movie "Rollercoaster" that was release in 1977, a lot people who saw the movie (well people who weren't from California) thought Magic Mountain was a brand new amusement park that open up that year. I think Six Flags took over around that time (1977) as well. But like someone already pointed out, the park open in 1971.

The park had other rides there when it first open like the log ride, merry go round, go cars, skyline ride and other flat and small rides. There was another rollercoaster built right after Gold Rush (I think it open in 1973, can't remember the name) it was located at the entrace gate of the park, before that other rollecoaster called FlashBack replaced it in the early 80's.
