Hi, cud u tell me if it is possible to travel from Penang to Langkawi by ferry? How long will it take and how much does it cost?

yes there is a ferry from penang weldquay near the ferry terminal at penang island straight to langkawi but my advice is better travel by land first from penang to kuala muda kedah then only change to ferry from kuala kedah to langkawi because ferry from penang to langkawi is quite roughy/bumpy and takes around 2.30 hours .. kuala kedah ferry takes around an hour only and not that bumpy..

dont worry about the cost its very cheap travelling here, k.kedah ferry cost RM18 sorry i dont know about the ferry from penang price ?? and for land travel better use the bus as they are dirt cheap here comparing to taxi e.g land travel from penang to k.kedah for bus cost around RM10-15 but if taxi it will cost around RM70-80

call me if u need help cause sometime sometime i do travel nearby around this area from time to time ..:) i dont mind giving a helping hand here .. i am staying near sg petani area which is sited in the middle of penang and k.kedah
