This interviewer is really good! So often it seems interviews on the more popular shows are trying too hard to be a "personality" as well. But this guy seems comfortable with his guest, asks great questions, and actually lets her talk. Loved it.

Regardless of her "sexual expansiveness," isn't she the woman every "hip" guy who's learned from experience dreams of:

Gorgeous, brilliant, deep, capable, competent, witty, understanding, honest.

But could we live "up" to her standards? And accept that she will be -- like she always has been -- a moving target?

This is not a woman to be "possessed" by anyone. She allows us all to know her (in =depth=), but "contracting for the future" is off the table.

I think Alanis is deep...and like many deep people struggles with depression. Yet she always swings into 'happiness' and 'positive' and yet most her music is pretty low ebb....which of course we all love.
