  • i love japanese anime, but thats how it was at first. all i thought about was the anime, but now i understand. japan is a beautiful country. after listening to japanese music and watching japanese drama's,and seeing this video,i relize japan is more than anime.its something beautiful that can grow like a beautiful flower. i love japan, not just for anime, but for its culture and music, and to me,anime is just like art.and thats just one thing i love about japan...its so beautiful. GOD BLESS JAPAN

  • @AnimatorJapan101 Thank you!

  • This song makes me feel so light and peaceful, corny as it may sound. When i'm in a bad mood, i listen to this and within minutes, i'm all good

  • Occupied by foreign troops and governments? The U.S. has been in Okinawa Ken since 1945. It's been a status of forces agreement between the US and a Japanese governments since 1972 when Okinawa was returned to Japan. What "occupied" troops are you referring to? Many Okinawans feel the Japanese military are the occupiers -- not the US.

  • It is not Okinawa music but Amami music, which lays at the foundation of the Archipelago now somewhat occupied by the foreign troops and governments.

  • is this from mermaid melody hope not

  • @rmsthebest shame on you. Of course it isn't.

  • is this from mermaid melody it sounds a little like luchia's song hope not

  • its soooo slow...but pretty...the japanese r a beautiful ppl..i hope they rebuild!:)<3

  • @ELvyraDarkAlice96 even if they rebuild heir home they will never be able to rebuild their lives. god bless japan. i am with you, we are with you.

  • @AnimatorJapan101 You'd be surprised. The Japanese people are some of the strongest people you'll ever meet. I have been there twice and the beauty of the Japanese people is just you can't even put it into words. They know how to come out of tragedy like no other country. You'll never see how much the Japanese can come together in even the worst situations. I have many friends in Japan.

  • @pinkflower7783 yes that is true...and i think the same thing. japanese people are some of the strongest and smartest people on the planet. they can do anything, however i was refering to the lives lost. you'll never get them back, but they can overcome it ...and that is what makes japan and japanese people beautiful people and beautiful society,no mater how others think of them. GOD BLESS JAPAN!

  • @AnimatorJapan101

Im a big fan of japanese people, because theyre the best in making music on the planet. And Yes, God bless Japan and it's people. But you still don't know everything about Japan, I think. I'd better not say it.

  • @Kimidori81 i may not know everything about japan, but i know that they are beautifule people. my mind doesn't have to know all the knowlege,i just trust my heart, and follow my beliefs about japan. i love japan.

  • @Kimidori81 Umm I don't think you know everything about Japan either.

  • @AnimatorJapan101 You're so right on that. Lives can never be replaced but it can only make people stronger right?

  • @pinkflower7783 that is so true

  • okinawa music :)

  • fucking hell, shes like soooo out of tune =0

  • @prettyb0y1992

it's okinawan >w>" it just sounds different, it's not out of tune.

  • @prettyb0y1992

no she isnt..its a way of singing

  • @prettyb0y1992 Shows what you know about Japanese music. She is not out of tune this is how they sing in Okinawa. :PPPP

  • we are in pain.

  • Okinawan music has a different vibe than to most mainstream Japanese music. Unique in its way....

  • is it a love song

  • can some tanslate it in english i love this song plz some one

  • @arva58 Learn japanese langauge.

  • what a strong voice. :D

  • BEAUTIFUL

  • I dont like this type of singing, I prefer children sounding anime voices....

  • @Kimidori81 nonsense. You wouldn't say : "I prefer strong sounding Spiderman voices" in Englisch songs, too.

  • @Kimidori81 Omg what are you a typical otaku who only likes Japan for the anime?! Not seeing the true beauty that is Japan. This is what Japanese music is about! You probably think Japan is just like how it is in anime. Try going there so you can wake up from your stupid anime dream.

  • @pinkflower7783

Stupid eh? You call people stupid just because they have different preferences than you do? Who's stupid between us? And since when I am not allowed to write how I feel? For your information, I LOVE japanese music, I listen to all genre except of this type of song. Sorry. Call me stupid all you want. You won't change my mind.

  • @Kimidori81 Let me ask you have you ever been to Japan? I've been twice and until you've been there you'll never understand what the Japanese culture is like. It's more then just anime.

  • @pinkflower7783

I've never been there, but 3 of my relatives were. They worked there for years. Actually I believe there's nothing wrong with their behavior or something, but that depends on the person. Never GENERALIZE people based on their nationality. A cousin told me that while many japanese people are very nice, they don't have strong family ties, they prefer to go out with friends instead of being with their family. What I dislike is their recreation. Im not generalizing though.

  • @Kimidori81 Japanese people are the nicest people you'll ever meet. They're beautiful thoughtful people with respect. I have several friends in Japan. And I'm Asian too. Don't want you think I'm white or something.

  • @pinkflower7783 What's wrong with "white or something"?

  • @pinkflower7783 whats that mean? "Don't want you to think I'm white or something." I love Asian (Chinese/Japanese/Korean ect) people I have several of all that I talk too online... I wish I could live over there. and I am a white American. I am not sure you meant it the way I took your statement... I just hope I am wrong. this is a beautiful song!

  • @VisionWiz1978 You could live over there but you'd never be accepted as no offense but you would stick out appearance wise. Just saying from what I've seen about Americans in Japan I don't have the best perception of them.

  • @Kimidori81 Wow is all I can say to this comment.

  • @Kimidori81 Big deal so what you have relatives that have worked there?! Talk about generalizing sounds like your cousin did the same thing. Let me say this unlike America after the tsunami disaster hit Japan you didn't hear not one not one person looting. And I can atest to that because my friends in Japan told me so. People respect each other over there! You can't deny that!

  • @Kimidori81 You'll never see a country come together in times of crisis like the Japanese how do I know that? Because I have seen it!!! And I might add I'm half Japanese myself!!!

  • it is chitose hajime right? i know "kono machi" by her and i liked it really much. but this vid is great, too! would like to be there in the sun

  • Reminds me of the Titanic song...except better. ;_;

  • Thank you for the translation, tzazkzuz!

Could someone please translate the middle section?

    Akai hanabira ga ochiru toki

    Amata no inochi ga

    Umare yuku no

    Ikusen no toshitsuki wo

    Nami ga mote asobu

Umi wo motto motto dakishimete ageru

  • Hijo ni uta utsu kushii. Watashiwa kanojo no koe o aishite. Ari Gato Guzaimasu.

  • If what tzazkzuz said is true then maybe the reason why this song sounds happy is because when you meet/become the breeze your meeting everyone else who went before you...lovely song

  • i curious about what difference of osaka's dialect and tokyo's dialect...

  • @adikfatin that's like asking what's the difference between a southern accent and a northern accent in USA...

  • @luongrobert4 okay. i asking because osaka have a unique dialect...

  • Obokuri Eeumi is way better than this

  • is this a okinawan song??

  • @Razen07Chester The singer is from an island in Japan called Amami Ooshima and therefore I think the song's origin is from there.

  • @MrMountainshore thankz for d telling d artist name..

but wat i want 2 know if it diz song is a okinawan folk song..

cuz it sounds lyk a okinawan song but im not so sure bout it..

    thankz again..

  • That's alright, and by the way, Amami Ooshima is the name of the island, not the artist's. I'm pretty sure it's not Okinawan.

  • @Razen07Chester

    not really

It is a newly composed for her. you can find some sound of Okinawan instrument SANSHIN

  • That was amazing!

  • this kinda reminds me of titanic

  • "Kaze" doesnot only mean breeze on this song. In Okinawa and Amami district there was a costom that when dead , exposes a corpse to wind, and to wait for weathering. That is "Burial at wind" "WATASHIMO KAZENINARU" means someday I would be a wind (I would die). This song expresses that "Feeling, finding the spirits, ancestors, life, in the wind. and so I would be" sorry for poor translation

  • @tzazkzuz

is that where the song sen no kaze ni

  • Comment removed

  • @tzazkzuz watashi mo kaze ni naru or 私も風になる means more literally "I too will become (go with) the wind."

  • HM.. one word =========>": PERFECT"^^

  • omg thats one of the milion reasons 2 love japan:X:X:Xawsome performance

  • I swear she sung the blood+ ending. I luv her voice so much

  • this song really touches my heart

  • hontoni,KAWAIIIne...kawaiiiiiineeee

  • i vote 5 stars.

  • This song tells me we are all the wind

The life is just a moment and forever

  • hmmm true.. born upon the depths of sea, as we age. the wind wears away at the bark of the old willow.. as we die, in the hands of our pas... we seek but a moments pause, and that pause, never ends.. a moment of our happiest moment.

  • I love Hajime's voice. It's peacefull...

  • Kind of sounds like a Japanese form of the song "My heart will go on."

  • you're right, it does, lol xD

  • is the title means in english : sometimes wind in a summer day ?

    I speak a little japanese (I'm french)

  • hmmm means "a day i will become a breeze (wind)"

  • Beautiful scenery.

  • my favorite song of hers is ひかる・かいがら =] it's REAL pretty, especially the live version =] you guys should go find it. =]

  • I dont like the song! She crying for nothing

  • yaaah that's the wonder of something u can't understand with the mind but the heart ...

  • it's trrue xD its just that,if this was in spanish,i'd have to kill the singer because it would sound horrible,i hate spanish language xDD well,i hate how it sounds..T_T

  • heeyy!! spanish language sounds greeat!

  • For singing? No, not really. Spanish is a very rough sounding language, and doesn't make for good smooth songs like this.

  • weelll thats true! ^^ haha

  • you racist

  • what? i say that about spanish,because i AM spanish T_T

  • well I'm latino,I speak spanish too and I have noticed a similarity in pronounciation between spanish and japanese.I love both so
