@xRoisinDx I've been a fan of Jensen since I first saw him on here back in the late '90s. :-) Though, as a guy, I was embarrassed about liking the show,so I kept it to myself.

Though, when I saw "The French Mistake", I'll admit I've never seen that clip before. hehe I stopped watching around 2001 or so after the focus got shifted from the adults to the younger crowd.

@xRoisinDx Well, I was about 16 at the time, so, being in high school, I had enough problems fitting in with people; I felt I didn't really need to be known as a soap opera watcher on top of that. hehe :-) Although later I didn't let it bother me as much anymore. I didn't go around telling everybody, but I just wasn't embarrassed about it. :-)

I'm sure that clip was taken from the show, though I'm not sure what episode it could've been since there was so many. hehe :-D

I feel sorry for both Greta and Eric. Eric coudn't help but feel strong about his first love, 'cause, after all, it's your FIRST LOVE, and Eric did tell Greta that he could use the trip to France as a perfect getaway from Salem and the whole situation with Nicole, but it seems that Greta forgot about that. Eric was a dig, but he never ment to hurt anyone, things just got out of his hands when everything reminded him about Nicole, including Greta. But Greta was great standing her ground like that

Looks like a lot of us started to watch this only for Jensen and would never watch a soap but it looks like we all got hooked into the story lines and begun to care about the Characters - haha!

Me I hate her in that scene. Eric was nothing but loving, supportive and patient with her the whole time. Kept telling her how beautiful and wonderful she was... but what has she ever done for him, intentionally? Nothing. And still the second he stops being perfect she becomes downright vicious towards him. He took away her confidence? What confidence? She had none to begin with! And if she did by then it was thanks to him! The girl needs some serious sense knocked into her...

Oh and something else. If you think about it she blames him for caring about Nicole the whole time and all but she is really no better: she herself cared more about her mother than she ever did about him. She was just as obsessed with the dead woman as he was with Nicole... so I say they're even. ;)

um... that's her mom. and she tried her best not to let her relationship with her mom get in the way with her relationship with eric, but her mom's death was fresh. it's a shame that Eric fell for a girl that in the long run probably won't be good to him.

Well I'll admit to being one of the many people who are watching this for Jensen, but from what I understood I believe her mother had been dead for several, if not many years at this point, but things surfaced about the last years of her life and her dying because of the things that Stefano put her through and that is what Greta is so upset about.

I don't know, I may just be heartless but I always felt that Greta tends to be "overly tragic" about things and that sort of bores me.
