Terrific, they are back together. Every time I'm feeling low, I put on the Imperials and start jiving with the Lord. David's Psalm is my favorite. The best rendition ever. I just put it up on my FB account.

@tnmusicman1 I used to know your dad back in the late 1960s through the mid-late 70s. I would love to get in contact with him again and revisit old times when they sang this song and others at our college. This is just one of the many, many fantastic songs they did. I thought New Dimensions was possibly their finest album

From the phenomenal "No Shortage" album, 1976, Grammy winner. I would love to hear from this album "Light At The End Of The Darkness", which I assume Larry Gatlin wrote during the short time he was a member of the Imperials (a shame he never recorded with them, tho). Not a bad track in the bunch! Thank you.

I have been struggling in my faith due to the deaths of my Father and my Brother this last year.

I know I need to get myself together and move forward, but it is very hard.

This is one of my most favorite Christian Contemporary songs.

As this world wobbles out of control I realize I need Christ even more because until Christ returns everyone will go the way of the world ( die )

@shimmel100 I'm so sorry for your loss. It's pretty amazing to me to read your post because I lost my Dad and Brother in the same year, last year. You'll never forget and your love for them will only grow. It does get less painful in time. Hang in there and Praise God you had them in your life while they were here. And they are still with you. @shimmel100 I'm sorry if I'm repeating myself, but I don't know if my comment got on here. I just wanted to send you my deepest sympathies. I lost my Father and Brother last year, and it's so hard. I love them and miss them every day, but I can tell you from experience that they're still beside you, and the pain does begin to ease after time. Be good to yourself especially this holiday season,and remember they love you.
