  • If i was on Acid I'd be so fucking scared!! :0

  • time is a measurement of man , not the universe

  • @blengravers "time is a measurement of man , not the universe"

    Wrong.

  • @sarsekim Not wrong.

  • @iptik you suck dick. tool is straight dumbass. they fuck women. and their music fucks my ears. and im totally okay with that.

  • @iptik

Then what is good music to you? And, if you hate Tool so much, why do you spend so much time commenting on the videos?

  • if you dont like the music then shut the fuck up and find another band. no one cares about your opinion on whats good or not. you just wasted 45 seconds typing that comment. the world and the fans of tool dont give a shit about. so shut up and go listen to creed..

  • Best live band I ever seen!!!!

  • we are like a flea on the back of a whale in this world but when we get to travel close to light speed then the world will be the flea and the universe will be the whale!!!

  • The Mathematical significance of this song is Incredible, You should look it up if you don't know about it!

  • watch the video "2012- a message of hope" it is truly inspirational, spiritual and universal. Help unite the people and copy and paste this message on every video that u watch. peace.

    2012- a message of hope

  • @W6S0A4 aka "bullshit"

  • @imameeble aka?? my name is "bullshit" or the video that i suggested. which is a good video by the way.

  • @W6S0A4 2012. is. bull.shit. nothing is gonna happen people need to stop pissing their pants over nothing it's gonna be so funny when nothing happens that day. if it does happen, then who fucking cares it's what was meant to be. accept it. but it wont.

  • @imameeble the video is not even about that. It is about meditating.

  • @W6S0A4 oh well the name is very misleading...

  • @imameeble 2012 is not bullshit. if it is then why does everyone think it's not, even when they say it is bullshit?

  • @W6S0A4 cuz they're dumbasses.

  • @W6S0A4 consider the fact that most people in america are fucking retards

  • @soadfan235 you've got a good point but I wouldn't neccessarily agree with you considering the fact that I'm not from america.

  • @Padthor where did your soul go? smoke some dmt and shut the fuck up... ya bitch lol

  • Comment removed

  • @Padthor your a fucking moron

  • @PTMSELLS1 oh so you know everything do you!!!? not aloud to voice my opinion. Thats the whole reason for comments you idiot!

  • All there songs make me think that its building up to something cool and they fail everytime....there music is nothing but a building climax, with no climax!

  • @Padthor You don't get the point do you, and you're obviously not a fine tuned listener. Get back to your shitty Ke$ha or whatever you listen to.

  • @Padthor That's what's so great about it! No climax! You make your own. Very good music to me. Makes you zone out if you really listen to the lyrics.

  • @Padthor are you seriously saying that my chemical romance and nickelshit are better than tool? nickelback is everything that is wrong with music today

  • @p4ul5utch nickelback is not whats wrong. They are good too. whats wrong with them? Is it impossible to like nickelback and tool?

  • @Padthor are you seriously saying that my chemical romance and nickelshit are better than tool? nickelback is everything that is wrong with music today

  • @Padthor obvious troll is obvious.

  • Whats a troll you piece of dirt! I saw these guys at a music festival i was at and they were rubbish. Who sings out of a megaphone! So stupid!

  • @Padthor oh shut up if you dont like the damn video just fucking leave and dont leave your dumbass coment

  • I hate tool. I can´t stop playing their music in my head.

  • @TheNoblePenguin84 same here. i first started listening to them when i was fourteen. im fifteen almost sixteen now. and ever since i started listening to them with open arms and a open mind, i never cease to be amazed on what i find in their songs. i am a buddhist, and meditating to this band has gotten me further to enlightenment.

  • Tool should have a concert in space...

  • This whole album is so good. I can't help but think Peter Green would enjoy it.

  • I love to sit in the dark, turn this song up full blast, close my eyes, and let the music rush through me. It's indescribable experience. It's also really relaxing. o.0

  • GREAT POT MUSIC :) [7]

  • The big change happening!

  • Oh Ya, ride the spiral of the inevitable change found in our environment. Love this song and video. Thanks.

Ride the spiral with strategic innovation and change.

  • i don't need to say something really intelligent to get thumbs up.

  • i once looked out of my window on a clear night, when Haile Bop was in the sky and got a real sence of depth. i saw what an insignificant little speck of dust earth is, how far Man has to go and how we are not likely to, at least in our current form (intellectually, spiritually and maybe even physically), before we could possibly take our rightful place among the stars.

it was the most humbling experience of my life..

everyone should try to find the depth in the sky. it'll change your life

  • @KemPeck1701 Excellent thinking man. Consider your point on how we may not make it, not in our current form. If that's true and we attempt to destroy one another through war and destruction. There are so many humans on this earth that some are bound to survive. Those survivors will inevitably learn from past mistakes and build a future like the ones we dream about, but individually we will never see.

This theory is thousands of years down the road... I think we'll make it.

  • @KemPeck1701 lol only 13 thumbs up! you suck!

  • @KemPeck1701 that's some nice stuff u said, and so true

  • @KemPeck1701 dude lay off the acid

  • @KemPeck1701 dude lay off the acid. I mean comeon if you feel connected to the galaxy based on this song than man has already done it.

  • @krytoses You obviously never tried acid with an open mind. Next time u feel like saying something feel free to stfu

  • @KemPeck1701 true my friend very true. i search the skys for that same thing

  • @KemPeck1701 i found it when i was 8, im 15 now

  • @KemPeck1701 dude i fucking know what you mean i really do, when i try to explain how i feel i sound hella depressed, but its not like that, we just know our place in this universe and we are concient about it. your explanation is amazing

  • @KemPeck1701 i saw a diagram where there is this sun close by that trillions of our suns could fit into. it is not the largest. makes you wonder why people kill over oil rights or religious differences

  • i love this song thats for sure

  • No words...meraviglioso...

  • Tool forever! Search the Japanese version of the 8 piece Koto Ensemble"s rendition of this amazing song. You will not be disappointed!

  • I litteraly love everything Maynard makes!!!

  • 7:22, I was walking around waiting for my ride home from school and I was having a bad day. Then this pat started and my day got better. Then someone took my CD player. I got it back and then vowed to stab him in the future for taking my CD player and ruining one of the greatest parts of the song.

  • this video and this song is the best fan-project i´ve ever seen...really great!

    love it

    greetz from germany

  • wow

  • @steverooni99 lol. werd. My recruiters a decent bunch tho. He filled me in on the fact that I will be doing alot of things that arent my job. Like the 13 series guys (Im 13b) are used for prison guards. I expect Ill be doing that more than shooting howitzers nowadays. building and or guarding schools student escorts...alot of humanitarian stuff. But when I wanted to back out of the DEP a month ago he told me I would be a deserter in a time of warfare. I sent him a seperation later the next day.

  • @MrTex1987 And by doing that I inadvertantly proved to myself on another level that I make the decisions in my life for me, to save or sacrifice. And even though I was angry with him for lying through his teeth like that and who knows how many other times to just me. I said to myself "fuck him. Its not personal, I know the law and my rights and for me to sacrifice even that is to push the envelope" So 6 hours later called him up and told him to disregard my email and that I was back on board. :D

  • @steverooni99 like your style

  • @steverooni99..i would say ppl take finding themsleves for granted..they just conform to what society wants them to be..*short scattered little thought*

  • @07123me :)

  • I get pretty high watching and listening without smoking anything. Tool is that awesome.

  • 1rst: Get high

  • i love the hubble pics with tool. perfect song thank you

  • I liked the perspective view of the ring nebula in the Lyra constellation...

  • @et6yEhzxexzhrz Please , would you like to shut the fuck up.

  • perfect video accompanyment for this song. this is true art

  • awsome vid

  • Every Tool song I listen to gives me chills all over . When ever I get angry I just need to listen to one of their songs and I relize that none of the bullshit matters in the end .

  • Out of all the albums Tool has had... This one, is by far has the most power. It just has such a HUGE impact. Music wise and Lyrics. Powerful album. I'll never forget the changes this album guided me through. Thats why I hold Tool into deep consideration. I think, Tool as in the music, has a mind and life of it's own, and it's not just the members. This is truly, what the mind can offer. Lateralus...

  • 46 people have no taste.

  • Okay, Hubble is a great project, I admit now^^

  • look for 90gagillion dollars this is what we get!!! well worth the space programs money!!!!

  • I could listen to the intro on a continuous loop forever

  • @FadeAway3s ikr :D

  • very nice song. Keenan is a master of mystery

  • I had no idea that's what this song was about nor did I know what it ment and now that I do it gives so much more meaning to the song

  • I find it funny how when we look at stars, we are looking at the past.

  • @Pilgrimedia .It takes 8 seconds for our sun's light to reach Earth. So a very distant star could take years for the light to reach us.

  • @eggsaladinthetub 8 MINUTES. sry im a nerd.

  • @eggsaladinthetub thats pretty deep

  • @eggsaladinthetub Absolutely True! Now think about this, If looking into outer space lets us see into the past, then I'm quite sure that looking inward would reveal possible futures. But never forget to 'reach and embrace this moment.' ;)

  • @eggsaladinthetub what a lovly statement, very true.

  • @eggsaladinthetub We are not looking directly at the past, we are just looking at the image of the past.

  • @eggsaladinthetub

That's just plain stupid. Something like claiming a car that's just travelled for 1000 miles to be from the past. Look, that car used to be far away a few days ago, it must still be a few days ago back there... You bunch of bloody backward morons.

  • @DjibrielFarishta Light takes time to travel.

  • @DjibrielFarishta It's like someone writing you a letter in the mail. By the time it gets to you things could have changed.

  • @eggsaladinthetub total donnie darko reference haha

  • @DjibrielFarishta That's not analogous at all. Your example is based on arbitrary time zones - yes, by convention a car that moves from one time zone to another can 'travel' forwards or backwards in time. But what we are viewing is from the here and now (well, if we're talking split seconds maybe not, but you know what I mean)

But the light we see from stars is ancient - we get an image of what was years and years ago. Not really time-travel, but not comparable to a car and time zones either.

  • @eggsaladinthetub Actually, everything we see is technically in the past.

  • @eggsaladinthetub how so?

  • @eggsaladinthetub i find it funny how little real intelligence you have.

by that logic, when you look up at the sun, you're looking 8 minutes into the past.

when you look at your friend sitting next to you, you're looking fractions of seconds into the past.

or we can just accept that we're not looking into the past at all, and we're just looking at light that's been emitted years ago

  • @snakegryffon I find it funny how little intelligence you have.

  • @eggsaladinthetub based on what? Your dislike for people who bring you down a bit?

  • @eggsaladinthetub : I find it facinating as well , I think it's visceral to feel that way , but how do we know for sure they are still there , and not just their light reaching us ? , this is where my mind cramps ; -)

  • @theeAlphaOne we know because we have satellites and fucking Hubbly Bubbly telescopes, plus shit they aint even telling the general public we have!

  • @theeAlphaOne Bubbly telescopes for the win!

  • @theeAlphaOne well in reality it is just the light reaching us cuz light can only travel so fast before it reaches your eyes. the only way we could know for sure that the stars are really out there, is to see them with a distance like earth to the sun.

  • @matthewthenerd : That makes it easier to understand ,Thanks for not being an ass .Thank you for your kind reply mattewthenerd . :p

  • This is what I saw on my acid trip.

The spiral. I traveled to a time of infinite measure. A time before anything existed. Witnessing the entire birth and death of a galaxy in one space of time. I had to learn to be human again. The ultimate insanity isn't to be inhuman, but to but to be human. If you understand, then you know as I do.

  • that spiral will never stop

  • Resist the Illuminati's Borg agenda, grow a herb/veg garden!

  • 1937 likes. good year... TO DIE

    good song

  • 7:17<3333333

  • love to ride the spiral

  • MasterPiece ! ! ! !

  • swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human...........spiral out keep going

  • Mans. tool is crazy stuff I started writing at 1:05 couldnt help myself had to write something. Didnt they do a song about what it was like to be in a coma? Like how the fuck are you gonna write a song about being in a coma? Those breakdowns are so coma like... WTF haha. But I understood it and it sounded perfect when I was stoned. And I cant remember the name of this tool song...schizm was it? cannot remember. God I was so high. I dont think it was tthis one though.

  • @MrTex1987 Proud of that are you?

  • @mundanewarrior Proud of what...I forgot...the only comment of mine I found was about being stoned the first time I heard this...I wouldnt say I was proud or not...it was an experience to behold though. Speaking of proud...I report for basic training on 20101116. Yeah I am proud. Especially when my father guilt trips me into not doing it...but fuck him right now Ill buy him a steak dinner when I graduate. But ya Ill be proud of that 2011mustang gt Im able to buy and my nice big house that isfree

  • @MrTex1987 if you survive the road side bomb to drive it ...hope your happy being a hired goon.

  • @vitaemecha aha you so funny. If I was worried about surviving Id stay on youtube for the rest of my life. And I hope your happy paying the IRS every year who funds these "hired goons" The people who start it or the people who pay for it...war mongering is what it is. But for me its guarding a school protecting a village and keeping your ungrateful little butt happy and free. If you dont think your free then put your fucking shades on and blow your ass away. Noone can stop you.

  • @MrTex1987 The IRS funds itself and noone else, look it up, therye a profit organisiation seperate to the government that have special dispensation to illegally tax you, have fun paying illegal taxes.

by the way im not American, i dont get bullied into paying the IRS anything.

    GOON

  • @vitaemecha The IRS funds itself?...I know the story...the Rockefellers...big banking...aliens...skull and bones yadda fucking yadda. But think about this....what the fuck can fund itself?

The IRS has its agenda and the only way to not pay taxes is to live in the woods away from the medical feild technology feild the list goes on. Do you consider yourself to be in the top 10% bracket of smarts? Then why do you fear them? If you know and I know then...We are the spotlight. Not under it.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrTex1987 I aspire to learn how to live in the woods and make things out of nothing and beable to teach most of what I learn to ANYONE in the WORLD not just my recruits. What makes me think I can? Im 22 I weigh 130lb 65% of that is 85lbs and I tear down and rebuild fences in Texas. I fuck up 100s of ft of fence dig and rip out the posts then throw 80lb bags of cement off a truck load them 2 at a time on a wheel barrow and walk them uphill redig the holes and mix the concrete byhandwith a shovel

  • @MrTex1987 All of us must learn to turn our power into knowledge and knowledge is the only key to living without fear. What ive learned so far? Fear is like pain...its not a physical place its a mental state, we cant avoid it at times but we can move through it. And when we come to the otherside, my friend, we are in a better place.

  • But one thing we will never understand is how we happend to be on this earth. Of corse people have their religous beliefs and what not but no one truthfully knows. Theres many things like this, like neurotransmeters, we give all these people anti depressents and have no clue if they help at all. Did you know that there is a cure for depression that works better than any other pill the doctor can prescribe, Exercise ha, it's proven that this helps 10 X better than any other prescription.

  • @MrTex1987 Living in the woods takes three things.

    Knowledge of the land.

    Endurance.

And respect for the other living things there.

  • @MrTex1987 And also how ironic considering I've helped put fences up before.

  • best tool song. a fucking masterpiece

  • much more spacey than orion lol

  • i remember this song in the beginning of the doom game sick stufff that would choose it for it

  • one of the greatest title tracks to ever grace the planet. I love how tool form 9-minute songs into hypnotic phases for their fans. by that i mean, their songs are much more than instruments.

  • @musicalkaratekid DUDE! That was AWESOME!!

  • imperfections are what makes us human
