  • wow that's pretty fucking good

  • Excellent

  • as accurate as it is. as brilliant as it is. i would like to hear your own solo over this backing track. not being disrespectful, Guthrie is godlike and i appreciate the tribute, but i think i speak for guitar players everywhere when i say, please make your own version, im sure it will be great.

  • @Hardysamnin thanks, it could never be as great as GG

  • @Hardysamnin I have been learning some of these GG solos from the JamTracks site and it's a good exercise to inspire your own playing. But you're absolutely right. The fact is, Guthrie improvised all of these and he only got this great by learning from his own influences. Imitate then create!!

  • Man great work!, can you send me the backing track?

  • You got the GG bending and sliding down, great job ! There are a lot of great players out there but there's something about GG playing style

  • Great touch!

  • awesome

  • awesome mate! these few licks look easy to play, but bloody hell they are harder to play than a 100 note lick goin at 150bbm

    guthrie is an awesome player.

  • very nice

  • nice3 what eggle is it a Patrick Eggle Vienna??

  • no its actually a '94 Berlin Stage

  • great tone! great playing! 5/5!

  • nice job and a nice wee eggle aswell, one of my fave makes of guitar

  • Thanks, yes the Eggle is an oldy but a goody. Well aside from it's sometime frustrating tuning issues!

  • @guitarnoize What tuning problems do you have?

  • @carroj9 that it won't stay in tune! haha

  • @guitarnoize Loool, touche. No i meant is it the locking tuners or the bridge. I have 2 Berlins, 2 Viennas 2 Los Angeles and a New York from Eggle in the 90's when they were based in Coventry and have experienced tuning problems with them myself. I changed the Wilkinson Bridge fitted for a later model and it did the trick.

  • @carroj9 sorry couldn't resist ;) That's interesting, mine is a '94 Berlin. I have thought about replacing the nut but maybe I should swap out the Wilkinson for a Gotoh or something. Can't be the tuners as I have similar setup on my Suhr.

  • @guitarnoize Axesrus do some nice replacements

  • well done bro

  • Sounds awesome! Great Job!slick sound.

  • nice licks

  • Get that pinky working ;-)

  • How did I guess you were going to say that?

  • This solo is so heartwarming. You played it very well, great feel!
