  • Nicely done and a great soundtrack. Good job!!!

  • If i am the law of nature , anyone who will attack me is attacking the nature " O'sensei morihei ueshiba " .

  • Excellent video, I wonder the video or link which is specifically this song, poisjá tried in some places and not found it, thank you for your answer!

  • I think when my knees are shot I may go into Aikido, it is such an aesthetic art

  • @Judokafighter

Aikido is very hard on the knees. It may not look it but a lot of power has to go through the knees when performing techniques. I have an old knee injury from football and it can be tough some times.

  • Part of the Satanic New Age movement, lets wake up a bit; see Ueshiba Archmage comments section.

  • what´s the song name? thanks

  • probably one of the best demonstrations ive seen so far. domo arigato

  • great practice for ukemi

  • the guy who's the Doshu's uke during the first half of this video, is that his son? (the future 4th doshu).

  • Doshus first uke in this video is Kanazawa sensei, his second uke is his son =)

  • 0:12 to 0:15

    amazing ukemi

  • Amazing. I could not fall so well. like wow

  • The Aikido people, they are also masters of cool.

  • Morihei Ueshiba was not a Tai Chi practitioner. The physical techniques of Aikido come directly from the Daito Ryu form of Aiki-Jitsu taught by Sokaku Takeda. The philosophy of Aikido came from Ueshiba's religious studies of Omoto Kyo under Onisaburo Deguchi. Tai Chi has many similarities, but bears no credit for Aikido. I have nothing against Tai Chi, this is just a friendly correction.

  • I'm prepared to accept your correction as I can't find the source material that led me to post what I did.

    I off hunting again.

    ;-)

  • Wonderful! Thanks for posting.

  • WAKA SENSEI AND Tissier Sensei are of the very best in the Aiki world

  • y'd ya double the speed

  • Great video, great edition x)

  • If you ask me.

    Tissier should be doshu.

    but anyway :))

  • ok its alright Mike

  • yes that's a good advice, I do the same I keep my weight under side everytime I walk or at least I try, lol...

  • Thanks for share!!

  • i would like to see master vs master show/preview/demonstration

  • Great uke....

  • awesome

  • good video but omit needless sound. noisy.

  • Then mute it.

  • just great!! I have not seen a throws like this performance before. thought that is needing to be trained long long time. gotta have a succes then

  • a great comparison! watch closely how that "japanese" sensei fluently do his techniques...the energy of uke is not even stopped but absolutely fluently continue...the other sensei use still a lot of strenght of his body (but i wish i could do techn. like he, ----cant even dream of doing techn. like that japanese sensei) :-)))

  • I prefer the Japanese guy, is more natural.

  • The move Tissier does at 1:14 is awesome, anyone know what its called?

  • Sankyu nage

  • Is it? Seems like a variation of some sort but when he throws the uke he loses the Sankyo grip, would that still make it Sankyo?

  • Comment removed

  • @watts18269 the name of the move is sumi Otoshi

  • if you see it in person and really get to

hear what its like then you will get a better

understanding. Goto (You tube - Sensei fred beast)

  • wow it seems tissier has more ki flow then moriteru , thats against my wish , i wish both of htem did.

  • lmao. um.. yah are you talking out of your butt.

  • Sorry my english but I think that when Segal Sensei do Aikido tecniques in Holiwood he make the greatest mistake of all the times... Lets make the things good... We must respect the transmision like O Sensei does.

Exellente video of Doshu and nice tecniques by Christian Tissier

    Bye.

  • Oh, that nasty "please shake my hand" guy again.

Well, he should learn something now.

  • Their all moves are excellent ,very fluid.I have Practised Aikido for 6 years but something is contrary for me like we can observe in this video. There's no challange in Aikido moves,Nage uses The Uke like an empty bag,Uke leaves himself freely. This situation causes a debate for use Of Aikido or Aikido is what for...

  • Senseis in this video just show some techiques for education, it's not a real demo. For a real good demo watch "A really cool aikido demonstration"

  • umm ok then we should totally listen to a steroid brained amateur street fighter wannabe and quit aikido. I'm so sick of dickheads like you who hasn't even trained one lesson in aikido and throws bullshit at it.

Since I can't prove that I can break your arm and your big mouth before you can say "fight" you might as well shut the fuck up.

  • Calm down, brother ;)

@Bldrfist: I did German Ju-Jutsu for eight years and was asked to be Uke for a 65 year old women at our dojo. "Well", I thought, "hopefully I dont hurt our guest."

After I flew around the first 10 times, I gave up my reluctance. Guess what, it made no difference - except that I hit the bottom much harder.

  • @conmechcompile ok ok aikido is about the spirit the minde and body soo lets not even waste our time reading ignorent comments cuz there so full of shit there not worth investing out time in to them.

  • can you prove this is bullshit outside of your own opinion. is there any documentation that its useless? looking silly doesnt mean its useless just means its looks silly to you.

  • Wow..ive never seen a vid that shows just how much waka sensei...opps..doshu, moves like his grandfather..exalent..

  • Although his title as the hereditary head of Aikido is Doshu III, he is still addressed as Waka-Sensei.

  • Idealne do ogladania wiec miło ogladać

  • nice video. very good aikido job. Tissier does it quickly and he is not violent I think. Ueshiba perform the job in different way, slowly. and i like his work on ground (handachi waza).

both of them are good. sometimes, we can do it the fist manner. sometimes, in the other manner.

  • Nice video. If the vid is a comparison between Tissier and Ueshiba Shihan, it is a joke. Tissier dose not get the point, that is why he needs to be violent. He breaks posture constantly and his Ki goes in the direction of his BUTT!!

  • I believe Tissier does get the point. Practical application vs. show and no touch hits. Where exactly wasit written or set in stone, that in order to do Aikido, you must never hurt anyone, or practice intensly? When did Aikido become flag foot ball, decent, but just not real enough. You say he misses the point, I say Aikido needs more Tissier's and Seagal Sensei's in this world. Drop a line my way, I would gladly like to talk to you. Plus I saw your vid's good jo work.

  • good video bad music

  • The music sucks but the Aikido is good

  • Nice vid. Can't say the same about the music..

  • aikikai ale trenuje sie tam obrone przed ciosami wiec niech go staraja sie uderzac a nie podaja mu reke a on nimi pomiata

  • No. A w aikikai uke to prawie zawsze tak atakują.I to od kilkudziesięciu lat.

  • dlaczego przeciwnik nie atakuje tylko podaje reke

  • Bo to aikikai

  • amazing video.there both just on an other level.this makes me wana practice more

  • Incredible video. Just inspiring.

  • i wish we could find such senseis in here...

  • Lovely Video, such a beautiful Martial art, I'm a 2nd dan Judoka and have also studied tai jitsu kai and have recently started learning ki aikido. I'm not very good, but i truely love this martial art, having studied Judo for over 20 years i can't help feeling i wish i'd taken up aikido earlier in my life

  • cool video!

  • Doshu's economy of movement is god-like...his kamae is solid and his tai sabaki is so fluid..

  • i invite you to my dojo.

  • of all the bullshido in real street fights only 3 things really work aikido jeetkunedo of course bjj but it's in jkd all ready and krav maga the rest is all imcomplite stuff or bullshido btw aikido is even the best to form spirit and balance ci or ki as it's one whit zen katana and arch so martial ats are spirit over all then can come defense u western materialist made em become just hitting .

  • Although I'm an aikidoka I'm so sick of ANY type of haters. Go spread your hate at the local bar. BLOCKED.

  • every special force and effective self defense system has a lot of aikido in it for me aikido for spirit and defense when it's high level and jeetkunedo for bjj wing chun boxe and kali silat then u nead nothing else mix the 2 and u 100% fine krav maga is just a jewish copy of jkd btw but who likes can mix whit that to

  • Not Jewish it's Israeli. Big difference. Not everyone in that country is Jewish.

  • i know people that used aikido as doorman in the worst places and street fights and never failed ill start aikido and zen soon high level aikido is really effective see steven seagal 7 dan ex former navy seals

  • Seagal-Sensei was never in the military. Or in CIA. But, was Navy Seal in movies. In US studied martial arts and while a young man moved to Japan and didn't move back until movie career began.

  • He's actually part of his local swat team

  • Who is part of his local SWAT team?

  • Seagal I believe

  • I think you're incorrect. Can you source that info? I'd like to know where you got it. Only police officers go on SWAT operations (with the apparent exception of TV camera crews) & Seagal-Sensei is not a police officer. Listen, I'm not out to knock Seagal-Sensei; only those who seem follow him like some cult. I was doing Aikido back when & remember when he took over his father-in-law's dojo & that he really did have to fight to survive the Japanese who didn't want him teaching in Japan.

  • Google: Steven Seagal and S.W.A.T something should come up

  • Googled & found some info about it & u r correct; he's member of Jefferson Parish SWAT team & helps train them. Sites said this verbatim:"in fact, he is a member of their SWAT team and is responsible for their training". I believe he would teach unarmed tactics & maybe staff. Highly unlikely he'd be teaching Tactics & firearms. Even more doubtful that he'd be on dangerous SWAT ops. He did go with SWAT in NO after Katrina to assist the stranded & secure flooded areas & keep folks out of danger.

  • This is true, however, there are MANY things about Seagal Shihan on the internet that are complete BS.

I helped Bill Sosa train Dallas Police Aikido Control Tactics, but that did not make me OR Sosa Sensei members of the Dallas Police Department.

I have great respect for Seagal Shihan's teachings, but I do not care for his movies.

  • I'm an aikidoka and I've been in real fights (not computer game fights). I wish you had the guts to be a man and attack a good aikidoka.

  • I love Moriterus Aikido...

  • This goes by mosis2, wanted to say that you cannot speak of a martial art which you have not practiced in your life, and cannot be speaking that way of which the Aikido is an excrement because in the Aikido which looks for is not to hurt to the opponent nor you, and in addition what you have only seen it is of demonstration because in the reality he is much more fluid and the more fast... good I hope that you understand that saying those things you will not get to obtain nothing

  • Aikidos legendary locks would be foiled by anyone with minor fighting knowlage and general non "wrist hungry" hippies.

  • Sorry, no drunk talk. Go to your local bar. BLOCKED.

  • Mosis2, I do box, and do Bjj, and received my first black belts in Karate and Goju. And believe me, "I'm no pussy". A good aikidoist, would not have a hand landed on him by a boxer. And yes there is a "magic way" of avoiding it's called Irimi. If I were you, I would find a good aikido school first, and join a class for 3 months. I bet you, you'll change your mind, or at least learn to respect Aikido. Never judge what you havn't experienced. That is ignorance.

  • Lots of police training in east Asia involve Aikido techniques, I saw some on Discovery channel. Maybe they should listen to mosis2's opinion and drop it, ...NOT.

    WHAT AN IDIOT.

  • This video is great!. Aikido is a very special martial art that not everybody is able to understand and enjoy, it takes patience and a long time of practice. Some people want to become masters in a very short time, and only believe in sports that make that possible. If your intention is punching somebody's face aikido is not for you, but if you want to be able to control your body and somebody else's, try it, the only way to understand it is to get your ass kicked!

  • Thank you so much! This is excellent! 2 true masters!

  • thx

  • No he would break your neck in an instant (if u dont warn him that is), i have a pretty good idea what it would look like.

  • Yes, I'm sure Steven Segal would just be dumnfounded if you tried to punch him in the face. Watching anyone good with their skill allways makes it look easy. dum dum.

  • I agree to that. I'd like to see u try and punch any aikidoka with 2nd kyu or up in the face.

  • no magic here buddy. comparing ANY martial art to pussy boxing is your first mistake. but nice attempt at sounding smart. you sound like youd be annoying if i knew you in real life.

  • those who cant see it useful on the street check out the jui jutsu techniques and you will understand, where can lead this practice to. there is no problem to hit and kick doing some technique, but aikido has different philosophy. need some more action? ked thai-boxing. but dont criticize if u dont know. good luck

  • Tisser 'Sensei' is TOSSER Sensei... He can't fight his way out of a paper bag. He is teaching his students how to get killed in the real world, because what they're doing isn't REALISTIC and DOESN'T WORK in reality.

What a bunch of idiots... Get a job as a stuntman if you like being thrown about by a sadist, but don't pretend you are learning a 'martial' art...

  • Jeeze, I hate when people do what Mosis2 did here. On the street you're gonna throw in some kicks and strikes during the technique, if it's life or death this is important. Aikido works if you're very much dedication. (sorry if my english isn't good)

  • you know, considering that you're apparently judging an entire martial art from some video you found on youtube, and not bothering to throw in any sort of evidence of your opinions, i don't think THEY'RE the idiots. go to a dojo, become a student, and try to punch a black belt in the face. And do us all a favor, and upload the inevitable video of you getting the crap beaten out of you.

  • That is too funny!!! I really want to see someone do that. Good suggestion.

  • oh that video would receive 5 stars from me...

  • true dat.

  • Sorry no drunk talk allowed. Go to your local bar and get socialised. BLOCKED.

  • Why don't you lot go back to basics with Aikido and consider it's name and meaning.'The Way of Harmony'. Can't you discuss this with a mind to 'develop' rather than 'destroy'?All this 'what if he punched me here' etc is nonsense. How many times have you had to stop anyone from punching you in the face? This is a practice of an art, not an anti-pub fight lesson. You need a teacher!

  • @ mosis5000, i practice aikido. if you tryed to punch me in the face, you wouldnt. and not all fights start with a punch to the face. maybe your getting mugged, and they grab your arm...or your wrist...or your shirt maybe? and when they did that, they would be submitted. and on the ground, they cant really punch anybody. nope.

  • Excelent video!

  • Junemyer: If you aren't aware, Tissier Sensei is considered the best Aikido teacher in Europe. He doesn't need to make his dojo "popular". This cutting has probably been done by a third-party anyway.

  • no that was a training by Moriteru Ueshiba and Tissier in the same dojo. It wasn't "cutting"

  • Do you want your dojo popular by cutting your vids with doshu vids?

  • Your comment makes no sense.

  • English please?
