If you want to be forgiven for your sins that shows that you feel remorse and sorrow for them, and if you feel remorse you can be forgiven, people that dont care about being forgiven or that dont want to change usually will not be forgiven because they will not ask Jesus Christ for forgiveness.
You cant forgive a man that doesnt care enough to change his ways.
