Disappointed that North America gets excluded from the wagon offering which I felt was a magnificent workhorse and ride (own a 2003) and won't look at renewing until I see the estate wagon here at our dealerships. My jaw hit the floor when I saw the wagon model being driven as part of Will and Kate's Royal entourage... Knew it was a Focus wagon ...and in a real nice blue/green colour tone too!
Why not not make cars that custom fit individual people instead of this one-size fits all? That is, have a computer dial out ALL parts of the car to where the size perfectly fits the person that's going to pay for it? I'm 6'2" and like the new Ford Focus, yet I watched a YT vid a few minutes ago in which young folks were sitting in it and stated that it's very cramped in the front seats! So by my suggested way of engineering, why not use a computer to dial out the dimensions and then mill it out
yea they are led day time running lights just like the audi they are also visable at day time and yes its a tivct 2.0 engine and st focus with a 1.6 ecoboost which is turbo and actually this comes from europe but should be in a ford new u in 1 to 2 weeks and it wont be a wagon it will have sedan and hatchback option .. I work at ford lol
Great job Ford! I don't understand why the US market isn't getting HID headlights, not even as an option on the Titanium model. I'd rather have HID's than a car that can park itself. I don't parallel park that often, but I drive at night almost every night. Ford, HID's are a safety feature!
@Ps3GameFreaks companies always release the next year model sometime through the year before so technically it is the 2012 model just made in 2011. manufacturers always do that.

Think the new Focus looks aweful imo they've spoilt the looks ..although it has a nice interior ..
I Have a 2008 1.8 zetec and its a great car i love it , looks cool handles like a sports car so its fun to drive ..Think the new version looks like a Kia ..... will stick with my 08 thanks Ford

Although I would have been happier just to be able to buy the RS model, I wonder what performance models there will be for the MKIII focus? No doubt Ford is going to get the SVT on it. Either way, can't wait for this car.

Ford will deliver the Focus that car mags like C&D have demanded. When they road test this 2012 Focus the big complaint they will have will be the price. C&D editors demand that domestic carmakers build cars with higher grade plastics good FitFinish and good vehicle dynamics. They will complain about to high a price.

I own the European 07 ford focus sport hatch and I have to say they are totally under rated it is more responsive than most 40k 50k cars friggin quick for what they are plus there is no angle in which they look bad

Great car! Ford is a leader in technology, and this focus will be a new sucsess for ford. is pretty design, and interiør is fantastic! Much techonologi, and nice. Focus is very good too drive, and i sure this is better than other, and alslo the gear shall not forget. Great car!
i have a ten year old European Focus, love it handles likes it on rails, have two other cars in our family a Jaguar awd X Type and a Mazda RX8, the Focus possibly is the best to drive, and for reliability, I can't say the same so far as for the other two!
I don't believe the 40-50mpg claim. This car will get in the upper 30's if it's lucky. Not that's that's a bad number but the claim that it will get 50 is preposterous.
This really isn't a review (more of a preview). The Fuel economy for the U.S. will be less than 40 mpg highway (the diesel version in Europe will get the high numbers). The ecoboost engine will be a single turbo even in the performance variant.
@wweuniversewwe I really hope your not talking about the 2010 Focus sold in USA because that car looks like ass compared to the ones in this video.. If your talking about the Focus being sold in UK then ignore this message...
At 0:32 the front lights looks like it has a led strip like Audi's. Are they gonna produce them with xenon and day light leds ??? Can't wait till they come to Europe.

The front is kinda pretty, but it has some issues with the harmony of its lines... and its "eyes" have less expression than the last european generation...
I own 2012 ford focus se and no problems with mine .
I inspected mine when I picked it up no fit or finish problems .
Also no shuttering with the trans as it was built after the flash update.
As with any new design there will be some quirks but that's what warrantee is for
