I started wow in BC. The thrill of being a noob in a HUGE world meeting new friends to defeat a common enemy was exhilarating. My funnest times of wow wasnt winning high rated arenas, downing heroic bosses... but of the times i spent mucking around with friends as a lvl 40, getting his first 60% mount and running through stv battling horde. Or the times where you would log on to stormwind and already be entertained by the shenanigans that occured. This was the best world of warcraft experience.
@tehxaznx lvl 40 was the best I reckon being a hunter and yelling "OMFG MAIL GEAR AND MOUNT!" doing SM and getting the full scarlet set and carrot on a stick ^_^
@tehxaznx I agree 100%. I enjoyed my time being one of the best tanks on my server while I was a raider, but I loved the time leveling up and the friends I made. When it took a few months of playing just to get to level 60... and someone who had full blues was looked up to, and someone who had even a few epics was like OMG, and someone in full epics was a god. Now you damn near get mailed a set of epics when you hit level cap.

@zeonzaku2s not all abilities works, you cant compete against other players in the same way, you cant brag about your accomplishments, there's no huge arena ladder, noone cares if you come up with new comps, you will never even be able to compete for things like world first etc, there arent millions of other players doing the same thing as you are, there is no xrealmpvp, not everything is working out perfectly, things arent getting updated as quickly, donators =better gear, etc etc out of text:(
the world is just too big now, and not enough interaction. this is when the game was good, when everyone was on little tiny outland, and people had to find their own dungeon group rather than just que, raiding was difficult and world pvp was fun when everyone couldn't just fly away because the training was so expensive. now it's just too easy, LFG, and flying mounts just made wow too noob friendly. of course this is just my opinion, but i honestly think wow died after the burning crusade.
I miss when there was actual WORLD pvp not just this bg pvp, it gets kind of lame after you've experienced pvp outside of Arathi Basin and Warsong Gulch. Another thing that is not cool is that they destroyed one of the best places for pvp on my realm, Southshore, no clue if you had mass pvp at Southshore in your realms but on mine it used to be insane! I miss those days.
If they want panda exp to not be the complete utter destruction of wow, they need to make it the hardest expansion yet. Dungeons need to be 1 and a half hour ordeals, not freaking 30 mins. And the pvp needs to be balanced.
sorry but i have school girlfriend and little work and i wow play 15 hours max in week only raids but its true i dont have time on dungeons so i dont have valors:D from dungeons

This is when WoW shined brightest. I played an Orc warrior during those times. I could envision an orc's reaction of returning to the shattered remains of Draenor, their homeworld. It's bittersweet and at the same time sad to see their once proud home as nothing but a husk of it's former glory.
god i wish didn't stuff about on alts and actually play my main and get to 70 at some reasonable point, to do the high end dungeons and raids during bc. beat myself up all the time over it and just wonder what it is like after doing it at 80/85
I have so much nostalgia for burning crusade. I started in 2007 I wish i started at its launch. Best zones, best music, best log in screen, best quests and mechanics. I feel the game began its decline as soon as wotlk was released. i began to hate every change they made and i thought northrend was lame. I should of shut up then....i had no idea what terrible things would come in cataclysm. They ruined wow.

Is it just me or is the music of BC and vanilla just generally better? These tunes have a lighter, more heroic tone, Wotlk had a rather chilling tone that fit but didn't give off that "great warrior" vibe. Cata just gives the impression: "You're fucked."
Everyone who misses TBC listen up, you know how there is a Public test realm? well blizzard should make one for TBC vanilla and Wrath. I guarentee if blizzard was informed this idea they would do it!
After having played through BC, WotLK, and now Cata (I watched my brother play preBC before I started) and having listened to all 4 log-in screens, I'm probably gonna say this is my favorite, because its closest to the original but the sound quality is much better and it doesn't have really long boring parts like the newer music (Although the Black Temple part in the Wrath music and the Ulduar music in Cata = Badass)

@ArbiterX122591 My absolute favorite was ofc the first one, but this one is still extremely well. And I do love how they insert parts from the early login screens to the newer, like at 1:40-2:18; always made me shed alittle tear each time I heard it. :')

Vanilla was so much better. TBC to me ruined a lot of wow by adding completely shitty looking gear. Pre-TBC look was way preferable.

Is it just me or is the music of BC and vanilla just generally better? These tunes have a lighter, more heroic tone, Wotlk had a rather chilling tone that fit but didn't give off that "great warrior" vibe. Cata just gives the impression: "You're fucked."

After having played through BC, WotLK, and now Cata (I watched my brother play preBC before I started) and having listened to all 4 log-in screens, I'm probably gonna say this is my favorite, because its closest to the original but the sound quality is much better and it doesn't have really long boring parts like the newer music (Although the Black Temple part in the Wrath music and the Ulduar music in Cata = Badass)
