Yeah, their Japanese names aren't too different from the American names except for Usagi and the brown haired girl. The others are close enough, and I grew up with this series as a kid. This was my favorite series, and watching this LP makes me want to see the series again. I kind of miss it.

The American version is crap compared to this... Crappy 1 button combo and A + B button move that is incredibly lame looking for each character. We did however have some cool special attacks from collecting crystals and tougher enemies. (especially bosses) I always played as Sailor Mercury (Ami) for some reason... My sister used to bug me to play this game every day. Oh btw lucah those crab hookers and mannequins were bosses in the original. The more you know!

Yet another game that would have been forgotten if the internet wasn't invented.

Also, the english dub of Sailor Moon isn't that special. The only differences (at least in the DiC version) are that the characters have English names and Zoisite was turned into a girl.

Why does it say "すたーと" in Hiragana instead of Katakana at the start screen? And "おぷしゃん"? Right above it, "セラムン" in Katakana.

Sorry, I wasn't searching for this game, I found this off of someone else's video. I've just started learning Japanese, and can read/write Hiragana and Katakana just fine, but how they're used here is a bit confusing to me. I've only ever seen "スタート" before.

Usagi is the best in this game even if Minako happens to be my favorite. Her special movie of crying and making sonic blasts come out of her dumpling hair jewelry knocks all enemies around her and doesn't cost life energy like her Moon Healing Halation super move does. Minako is the second best because of her chain which can keep enemies away. I also like Ami with her Shabon Shoryuken. Rei is okay, but unfortunately Makoto is the worse. Minako is the only one without a special move.
