its real. im a fishermen from santa cruz and i see idiots like that chick and the kayakers out there all the time. for about the last month or two the whales have been feeding on all the bait fish like 200-300 feet out from the harbor. so when that happens you get a ton of boats and all these idiots on surfboards or those stand up paddle boards and kayaks sittin out there in a circle to check them out with no consideration that the whales are wild animals and the size of a bus.
