@eventhorizon128 I agree. Most of those very rich people just want to earn a quick quarterly profit. Or they will only donate to non profit organizations that they can write off on their taxes.

They have no intention on funding technologies for the benefit of man, to see if they work, etc.

It's all about how much people can make in the shortest amount of time.

If they see another project they can exploit, they would rather spend their money on that.

We will get the funding. No doubt.

Its easy and healthy to doubt but keep in mind that Nikola Tesla sure as hell had a flying machine that was to make the airplane look like a "toy" but we never saw it. I was on the fence for John Searl but he proves his credibility through his library of books he himself wrote. Who does that unless they have a solid conviction they know what they are talking about...

If that's correct and there are a dozen of you working on this then why not pool your own resources and build one? Show that rather than these simplistic toys. Afteral, all you need to show is one true working model.

@Itsmeeman1 People write a lot of things on the net. No one associated with Searl Magnetics ever wrote that it takes $33,000 to make a working SEG. More like 3 million.

The CNC precision lathe cost almost $30,000

$30,000 wouldn't even pay for a fraction of the equipment needed.

With $300,000, we can finish modulating the two 6000 pound magnetizers necessary for the tangential magnetization process. Each of those was about $10,000 not including shipping.

These aren't "simple toys." haha

@TheRealVerbz Sorry Verbz but I recall merely moments ago that someone wrote that the price of sale would start at around $33,000 and then may drop to $1,000 with more sales. My mistake for thinking that the price to build one would be so cheap.

If the CNC lathe costs so much then how did Searl manage without one in the 40s/50/s60s with his previous designs, let alone the cost of a magnetiser?

I would like this to be a true phenomenon but I'm leaning away from it. Sorry.

@Itsmeeman1 Once mass production starts, each unit will be less than $8500. The following year will be around $2500 because we would have enough money to purchase more in bulk which would drop the price.

Searl originally developed the SEG while he worked for British Rewind Electric Company in 1946. They hired him as a 14 year old to rebuild all the generators and manage the equipment.

He had access to all the machines, all the workers, had the time, energy and a huge infrastructure all for Free.

@Itsmeeman1 When he left British Rewind, he was on his own until a rich man named George Hains funded him with a few million dollars over the course of a decade or so.

When George died of cancer, Searl was on his own again until 13 elderly men got together and funded him with millions of dollars again. They all funded him under the stipulation that he not go commercial, compete with current energy giants, they didn't want problems with the military, gov or tax man.

Now he's on his own again.

They want funding yet they afford to jet around the world setting up new offices and construction plants. This a scam thats been running years, only made possible with the interent. No working seg has ever been made, and no real evidence exists to say otherwise. Dont waste years of your life and money on this, you will seriously regret it.... In 30 years No ones invested in this for a very good reason... its a scam to get people in there thousands to donate, and thats the truth of the matter.

"They want funding," meaning, Professor Searl and Fernando Morris.

"Jet around the world?" You mean set up 1 research and development center in Southern California paid for by Fernando Morris.

There IS NO construction plant. If there was funding, we could have one.

It's not a scam, I've seen the evidence.

Also look into the totality of corroborating research in the description.

Searl Magnetics Inc has Never asked for "donations" but rather is seeking "venture capitalists."

Donations and fundraising is only for non profit 501c3s. Searl Magnetics is a business and corporation that will eventually sell the SEG and specialized magnets. As of now the only product is the John Searl Story DVD.

For every $25 DVD sold Searl gets $3.50 after all the slices of the pie are taken.

You're obviously just a pseudo-skeptic who's done No research.

@alienhddna The device you see here is only the 1 ringed model. The true SEG has 3 concentric rings with freely floating magnets.

After the last magnet is put in place on the 3rd ring, it self starts and remains at an idle speed.

No external power source needed.

The 1 ringed demonstrator shows characteristics of spin forces, magnetic alignments, and waveforms on the oscilloscope.

It's powered by 1.5 volts @ .06 amps moving about 8 pounds of weight 200 RPM (orbital) and 15,000 RPM (Centripetal)

@gilbondfac We ARE proving it. More and more everyday. But with Zero funding and 12 people working on this world wide.... it's very difficult to get the type of ultimate "proof" you want to see. All people seem to want is a machine they can pick up in a store one day. It's not real until they see the end result. Is there not proof within the entire process of achieving that end result? We are currently RE-building an entire infrastructure necessary to get the end result. Help us prove it.

We need for watchers to become do-ers.

People don't seem to understand that there are only 12 people on Team Searl and we're all volunteers. We can't have big investors because they all want to own 80 - 95% of what they invest in. That's not an option since this technology is for the people. It's not going to be owned by some rich and dominant company who will put it on a shelf and keep yet another free energy device from the world.

We need the public to donate and help us prove it.
