The Hot Rock is a great comedy thriller and Redford and Segal were perfectly matched in their roles and showed a masterly light comic touch. No the movie is not boring. Well not unless you're looking for helicopter action ad nauseum.
Awsome, still cant imagine planes flying into them people falling and then collpasing even tho ive seen it time and time again, and that there now gone, and it is eerie.
Notice how dirty the NYC air was before the EPA was enacted (half a year later, IIRC)!

The real eerie thing about the Twin Towers being in this movie, is the code word Robert Redford has to use is Afghanistan.
