Snowe's costumes can be collected as collectible items. All other 3 uniforms are floated on the sea. You can ask Ugetsu to pick them up by sailing around Pirate's Nest, Illuya, and Razril. Enjoy sailing for half a day ;)
@Justin510000 Pearl shell could be rarely dropped by Land Shell, encountered by sailing near north of middleport and east of illuya. You can encouter it only once per sailing.

Lino, the Obel king, does not have x2/x3 DMG effect rune, his attack damage cannot be at the same rank of Mizuki's or Kika's.

Nice. To a previous comment, yeah Suikoden 4 was quite short, the shortest in fact. Suikoden 1 was longer, and Suikoden 2 is probably one of the longest(if you want to end the game with EVERYTHING), Suikoden V took a while too, but that was only because of its lengthy scenes.

You get Shiramine and Ugetsu, then cast out the net by talking to Shiramine in the Rear Deck on the Second Floor of your ship. Then just sail around the Nest of Pirates. You can also get his Knight Armor and his pirate clothes by casting your net out and sailing in Illuya and Razril (Illuya for his pirate clothes, Razril for his knight clothes). Yeah. I think that's it...

i discovered quite by accident that you dont actually have to sail to catch those fish. Just casting the net and returning to the world map screen is enough.
Takes something like 5-10 mins for a full net regardless of whether you fight or move.
Just cast that net and read a book or something. worked wonders for me when i went to get all them furniture pieces!

i gave up as welll...well not really gave up but i havent played suikoden 4 in a really long time and i dont really want to play it much much...ive already ended the game with all 108 stars of destiny about 3 times now and atleast i got to see his outfit in someones elses game with this video.
i like this game, but the only thing i hate about it is when u have to trave; between island, it felt so real , it was just like i was really sailling, it took so long and if u counted the enemies that i encountred , i dont wanna say anymore, but evrthin else is cool
i know i hated the sailing in this game...way too tedious and annoying because of those invisible barriers but the rest of the game was pretty awesome...people dont give it much credit.
the graphics really are better in SIV than in SV but if you do a closeup on the camera in SV it looks more smooth especially since it is cell-shaded but theres a major problem with being able to see things when you do that and the spell graphic was better than SV's as well. it's strange how they downgraded some things but i was pleased with them both equally. i just wish SIV wasnt so short, i mean it only took me 2 days to beat it as opposed to 2 weeks for SV. i think even the first was longer.

Yes! I see the power of stacking the rings and having the right equipment. Levels are just a part of the equation. seeing how you did the math REALLY helps and I'm trying to confirm the idea that you can do this with a level 75-80 group. I just started my Suikoden IV game over since my friend corrupted my Mem Card. I guess that makes me "that guy" too :)
Finally finished the Ogre sets... You were right! That was an exasperating experience. My group is at 57 and all the pieces are in place. I'm making redundant copies of the save game and will have them start at level 70. I'll see how many turns each level takes on the Tree Boss. Even at level 57, this group is killing everything in one turn, but sometimes allows an enemy to get thier turn in! I know the defense on the tree will mess with that. I'll see how early this could be done!
Confirmed! This can be done at Level 71! Using your formulas, I was able to defeat the Giant Tree Boss in 1 turn! I'm recording a short Video of the battle as well as the character's equipment and stats before the battle. If you'd like, I'll post it as a response to your video. At 71, I was shocked! I truly just had a "That didn't just happen" moment :)
Yes... I think there may be something a little different about my party. Each has a maxed out element on thier weapon. In the vid I made last night, I show the status of each including the weapon level and element. For example, the True Friend attack that finished the boss did less than 6000, but the falcon rune did WAY more. Still, this JUST adds up to it dying in one turn... I do not have a DVD burner on my TV, so I'm taking the tape I made to my dad's on Friday to get it on one :)

No sane person goes to lvl 83, as there is no point at all, as the game is easily beaten way below that standard. So, what you lost was time and credibility, as anyone can beat the Giant Tree at that lvl. I also didn't waste any turn on Ted.
I want you to understand. My point is I want to kill this boss in one turn. It's a challenge. A friend of mine kill Beast rune in one turn. Another guy kill Sun rune in one turn. After you got all other 107 characters, go to Mordo, talk to a man at the port he will mention about wrackship guy. Sail your ship to the left until you find Snowe.
It's very easy to get lv99 in S4: Go to Reinhold training room, your party will get at least one level up after defeating all battles. Tell me if you can beat giant tree in one turn at your character level 99. ;)
First time training with Reinhold - defeat opponents 5 rounds. We can get Fury rune only once per play. This is my 3rd playthrough, so I've enough fury rune.

cast the net, you can get Snowe's new outfit somewhere as replied in many previous comments.
True Friend ATK is automatically unlocked when you recruit Snowe, not up to Snowe's Outfit.

I agree with ezuan.
Sailing in this game is tiresome yet uber realistic. That's what I like here, realistic graphics.
Its graphics are better than SV's and the spell graphics are really great yet simple.

Quite simple, I looked at your vid, because I was pretty confident, that the Giant Tree couldn't be beaten faster than I did.
Then I came across yours, assuming you'd be around the same lvl.
Also, none of that you said, is mentioned anywhere else, nobody knows.

Yes Fury rune makes your character up 50% for all physical ATK, including Shrike and Falcon.

Yes. Give the maps to rita so that you can play minigame "treasure hunt" while going to some areas - Mordo, mt.mass, limeshelf, donut island.

After you got all other 107 characters, go to Mordo, talk to a man at the port he will mention about wrackship guy. Sail your ship to the left until you find Snowe.

You can return to Obel only after you liberate Razril at the very late part of the game. See some walkthrough, it will tell you where to go first.

It's very easy to get lv99 in S4: Go to Reinhold training room, your party will get at least one level up after defeating all battles. Tell me if you can beat giant tree in one turn at your character level 99. ;)

Cast the net around Razril, Pirate nest, and Illuya. There's some chance you'll find Snowe's outfit.
Then talk to him on the ship. He'll change the cloth.

First time training with Reinhold - defeat opponents 5 rounds. We can get Fury rune only once per play. This is my 3rd playthrough, so I've enough fury rune.

Mizuki (Goblin Set) - Fury + Double Strike
All equip with 3 power rings.
Mizuki's Shrike deals 3300 DMG!
Kika's Falcon deals 3000-4000 DMG!!
True Friendship's ATK deals 6600 DMG!!!
No stone of STR required.
