Violent terrorists are looking for any edge to take advantage of our system. I have every confidence that Barack Obama is watchful as he establishes his group of advisors and Cabinet officials who will take the helm in January. Change is on the way. Suggestion: find a volunteer project that will help effect the change we need.

Of all the Obama music videos on the net, this one is my favorite. Love the song and the images that go with it. This song portrays what this election was all about. I worked on the campaign and watched this video every day for inspiration. I drove an "Obama-mobile" around my home town equipped with a speaker on the roof. I played this song as I went all over the city. People loved it! Great work! Yes we can, and yes we did!

The writing of this inspirational song is the story of one brother who had a chance meeting with Barack Obama because his young daughter wandered out of a line at a Seattle gathering and walked up to the Presidential candidate. This was in 2007 and Joe told him, "I think you're going to do it." Barack looked him straight in the eye and said, "With your help I can, with your help."

What is wrong with being inspired by someone? I'm thinking you are young and maybe weren't alive in the days of John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy, among others. These were transformational leaders. Their speeches were magic and they moved people to public service. Watch Martin Luther King's speech, "I Have A Dream." No one has come close to those great Americans until this moment.

However, when it comes to public policies and projects, never doubt the effectiveness of a strong leader who can bring people together. I have seen a community transform itself when one person takes on the leadership role. Here is a man who could make millions in the private sector. He was a community organizer who returned to Harvard Law because he knew he needed expertise if he was to make a significant impact. Though he became the celebrated President of the Harvard Law Review, he returned to his community. It's one thing to prefer another candidate and quite another to put down a remarkable human being. I am Canadian too, and Obama will not bring in a health care program as good as Canada's, or accomplish anything that changes the military industrial status quo for that manner. Obama is to the right of Canada's progressive conservative party.
