  • I am 18 years old with Hemiplegia Moderate Cerebral Palsy.

I been taking ballet classes since I was 5 years old in September of 1998 & I been taking jazz & modern classes since 18 years old in August of 2011.

  • I love seeing people help others to dance, even though they have some physical limitations. I used to dance en pointe for a long time and jump with beats and run like everyone else, but I injured my ankle 6 months ago and now I have foot drop. I have to wear an AFO if I want to walk normally. I am still dancing in my regular classes. I do my best, even though I probably look silly with a foot that won't point.

  • Joanne you are god sent!

  • I dont like programs that SUGAR COAT the truth for these girls. They should get to go all out with things like that & show all the wonderful things they can do. I have CP & I do performing arts. Its the real deal! I know because my director treats me like every else in my troupe instead of babying me. I wish all girls with CP do all the things that I've done. It could make them as happy as its made me!

  • so sweet and nice.

  • that is fantastic... i love that lady!!!

  • Aussie4Me I have always hated the title HANDICAP, people think you CAN'T DO, I am glad this show that WE CAN do anything if you put your mid and work to it. I am deaf and always say: Deaf, the only thing cannot do is hear. Handicap the only thing that we can not do is GIVE UP TRYING

  • I think that our greatest disabilities can be those that allow too much freedom. All of us need to try, some have more challenges to face, but we often misuse our opportunities. We all have at least 1 handicap. All of us.

  • Except niggers...that's a disease

  • Touching story, What a wonderful lady offering her services like this. Very nice.
