ENGL Gig master at High gain at 1 Watt (power soak)

The ENGL Gigmaster is not an Amp for people who plays mainly metal. It sounds more like an old Marshall on steroids. Also the speaker in the combo is pretty shitty.

And the powersoak on 1watt is pretty useless, since it has tubes, you should play it cranked up, which is pretty impossible in your apartment (15watts).

Should of had the master up to get the power tubes cookin, especially since you were only on 1 watt, and also run it through something bigger than a 1x10 speaker it wouldn't sound so thin to you anymore.

@halloichbinshorst - Sorry no...I returned it after 2 days. Too much monay for the sound - I switched to the Randall T2C which beats the hell out of the Gig master...

@eatthemoon13 i am about to sell the blackstar ht-5 to buy this, i already have an engl sabage 120 for my studio, but i need something to practice with at home and the blackstar is too loud to crank @ 5 watts in my nyc appartment,. so i think this @ 1 watt will be just fine.

If you're doing tone demos, can you make sure there's a 480p option? The audio is generally much lower quality at 360p. Even if you've to upload an unnecessary large file, it's much better.
