  • whats so sexy about that tank... looks like a flinstone tank. Is it jsut rapped in wood or is it home made?.

  • @randy12368 Tank has wood canopy and wood to hide where stand and tank meet, tape down sides to hide corner glass. Yes home made, appreciate the comments, sorry you don't like it.

  • @BryanTheFishGuy1 I like the tank as it looks good in the setting you have it in, just didn't see anything sexy, nothing that I associate with females.

  • i love my cichlid tank. i bought them before i realized how much of a pain were but ive managed to grow my plants out pretty well aside from the fact that they nibble the leaves once in a while. i cant seem to find any pet stores around to get any of the really beautiful ones. just the classic "mixed african cichlids"

  • Nice tank!!!

  • This is my tank! I am Bryan. This tank took hours upon hours to complete. The entire rock back ground is styrofoam that I carved out. I used a 6 foot by 2 foot section for the back wall that was about 6 inches thick. I carved it out and will have dustin post a video with photos of the step by step process creating this tank. I have 16 Malowis in here and 3 from tanganyika. I'll list out all the fish below

  • @BryanTheFishGuy1 The Fish are: (Malowis)-Blue Ahli,- Hap. Moori,-Deep Water Hap,-Red Fin Borleyi,-Sulpher Head,- Tiawan Reef(couldn't remeber him in video), -red peacock,-german red,-lemon jake,-bi-color,-Benshi,-Sunshine,-blue orchid, -yellow blaze,-rhodesia,-yellow lab, (Tanganyikans)- 2 alto. compressiseps, -juli. reganii (Synodotis- Nototus, petricola, and shadentia) My spelling is terrible and i don't have my book in front of me for all the latin spellings but these are the common names.

  • @BryanTheFishGuy1

    Awesome job man.

  • I like cichlids just not Africans but that a bad ass tank. I found a pile of sand stone near my house if I had to make an african tank I would use that cause they have different colors in them and just generally awesome shapes.

this is definitely one of the best tanks ive seen. those are some good lookin syntodonis but im more of an SA drift wod cat type lol.

again awesome biotype its stunning whats the tank size did you silicone the rocks to the walls?

  • @nicofish1000 I'm not sure if you caught this, but those aren't stones they are painted styrofoam. My buddy brian is a wiz with DIY projects. I'll have to get some DIY videos up for you all on that. but its was all him... thanks for the props! thats a 125

  • @Dustinsfishtanks

nawww thats amazing its painted foam I am awed all the more respect normally fake rocks dont look that good

  • @nicofish1000 Thats all Bryan...Kids got game and the time to play with it.. Wait till you see what he busts out next...

  • @nicofish1000 THe styrofoam isn't really painted with paint....once i had the styro carved i covered it in concrete a single layer at a time. No paint used. The color comes from concrete dyes that you add in while concrete wet. This makes it so the color never comes off. I went stone by stone creating what i thought looked like a natural lake bottom. Once the rock wall was done I drained and filled the tank 10-15 times to leach out all the excess color in concrete and make it safe for fish.

  • @BryanTheFishGuy1

    even more respect man.

  • @nicofish1000 Bryan has Game ;)

  • great tank,man!

will you guys post some diy video about that background?

  • that blue one looks sick

  • I've spent many many hours looking for quality cichlid tanks on youtube. This one leaves them ALL behind.

  • @Jolley53 who are you and what are you doing on my channel?! HAHA.. What's up jolley! It looks like it should be in a zoo right? Bryan has soo much game with tanks...lots of hours into it, but I told him ....its the best cichlid tank I've ever seen with my own two eyes...this is what we can do for the 220 of yours!

  • @Jolley53 Thank you for that. It took me hours to complete this tank and I'm glad people see the hard work and time put into it.
