  • This is the world's best movie, in my opinion.. everything is just perfect, the actions, the story, the beautiful landscapes, the actors, the phenomenal music... WOW!

    I couldn't ask for more...

  • LA MEJOR PELICULA QUE HE VISTO CON GRAN DIFERENCIA ,LA PUEDO VER SIN MEDIDA ,ME EMOCIONA , !!! JOHN BARRY !!!! !! INMORTAL!!! ES PARA MI UNA EMOCION QUE NO QUIERO CONTROLAR ,HASTA LLEGAR A LAS LAGRIMAS MUSICA MARAVILLOSA POR SIEMPRE.

  • Even bar of this song is emotional, but the solo flute at 5:57 and 6:34 especially make my heart melt.

  • One of the finest soundtracks ever! This finale is heartbreaking in the movie: loss of friendships followed ultimately by the loss of their land and an entire civilization. Barry captured the enormiity oof the loss and hearbreak in a few bars. Amazing!

  • @MingnonDunn Nice comment. John Barry's score for Dances was a highlight in an already incredible career. If you're interested in the history and tragedy of the American Indians and you haven't already read it, read Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee. I don't think I've ever read anything as painful and heartbreaking as that book.

  • @Tapiola2007 This is true. My late husband, who was Italian, loved that book. Some nights he would read parts of it to me in bed and he would become visibly moved to tears. I will never forget that. I haven't read the book myself yet but it is on my list.

  • @MissLes2011 Well, I can strongly recommend the book. It's hard to take at times but ultimately rewarding. I hope you find the time to read it one day. Regards!

  • 6:58 Best part in the entire song.

  • i really like the soundtrack of this movie!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love the beginning of this song. It takes me back to the scene when smiles a lot gives him back the journal

  • Tema del emocionante final. Thanks John Barry.

  • Sorry at 3:44 ^^

  • The changing of tone at 3:49 always gives me the goosebumps :)

  • Essentially, Dances with Wolves is about the birth of a nation. Our Nation.

With all that has befallen us in these times of ours, ignorance, greed, fear, war - may we be reminded of the great many sacrifices, willing or unwilling, that where undertaken to bring about this country of ours.

May God always bless this vast land, its people, its trees and hills and the authentic liberty and freedom that it engendered. And may He forgive the blood letting that it causes and has caused. Allahuma Amin

  • my favorite part of the soundtrack because it has all the major themes of the movie you can picture the army approaching and at the same time experience the serenity and sadness of the film

  • who composed this?

  • @andresviveros John Barry. He's a legend. This is possibly the best film soundtrack ever composed! Even the Pope named it as his all time favourite classical inspired score.

  • @andresviveros John dunnbar

  • In some cases are very similar than the soundtrack of the lord of the rings. And both films are GREAT

  • One of the greatest film soundtracks ever.

  • A good piece of music should be able to tell it's own story. And this piece of music does exactly that =D

  • I remember having the VHS as a kid and fast-forwarding for 10 minutes to get to the end credits just so listen to the end theme :D

  • this music is just......wow
