Nothing wrong with B.C. Rich if you get a USA. Some of the newer imports from Korea are actually GREAT values.  Best playing guitar I've owned is one of my BC Rich ST-IIIs. GREAT guitar. GREAT tone. Right up there with my Jackson SL2H.

@Soilwar I've noticed that people like Vai, Satch, Yngwie (most of the Gods of the last generation) don't have super amazing tones but ones that suit their playing. Their tones are distinct (even if a little bad) which makes their playing more unique. Where as it's hard to distinguish between two guys with "really good" tone.

what's wrong with bc rich. any custom guitar is going to be high quality.

@DeathZeroTolerance not true at all a lot of companies put out excellent custom shop guitars and crappy production models and most of the companies that do "custom" work are charging $6000+ for an okay guitar while companies such as suhr and carvin sell anywhere from $900 to $5000 expensive yes but those companies actually let you have control of what's happening vigier needs to offer custom shop guitars
