im so confused! so there are two mions? or is one of them dressed as shion, or is there two shions, and one is dressed as mion!?! i dont get it!

The girl with long hair is Shion. The one with a ponytail is Mion. In two of the arcs, Shion dresses up as Mion to get somethings, but ended up using it for advantage later, and locked Mion up in a cage, while mion had her hair down like Shion. It's confusing...I know =_=
