I personally don't find the act of eating arousing in any way but I do see why gynosexuals (attracted to females) would get a kick out of it.

Equating chocolate to sex/arousal is superficially accurate on a neurochemical level ("pleasure" and whathaveyou) based on what I've read. I think some of us are just tired of the advertising. I, for one, really don't care for chocolate and am female. So when I see ridiculous amounts of advertising aimed at women I have a little 'wtf' moment.

And this is just my crazy theory, but is it possible that some women, especially young women who do not quite know themselves yet, just play into the whole chocolate addiction thing because it is the womanly thing to do? I don't know this for a fact, but I suspect it *could* happen.

I read a blog post about how racist that ad was. Oddly enough, most of the commenters were black, and almost all women thought it was racist, and almost all men didn't.
