@ilybakura Very. Like many instruments, the theremin is easy to learn the basics of but incredibly difficult to play well, even more so because there are no markings or physical indications of where to position your hand for the note you want - it's muscle memory to the extreme.

it takes years to learn it. as a piano, you have somewhere that is positioning the fingers.

on this instrument is the distance that determines the tone.

Thanks so much for uploading this!!! Sometimes I think the theme of Midsomer Murders (on the theremin) is the main reason I watch the show--certainly one of the prime reasons. It's hard to think of any theme that has been better suited to its subject matter. Deliciously creepy! (The actors are wonderful, too.)
