i really like there other album better, although this one is very good too. But I have to disagree with others about this song, a slower acoustic song is a nice change of pace. As for comment saying all their songs sound similar, imagine how much more you would think that if they didn't have slower pace changing songs!

I see a number of people complaining about this song, and whilst it is predictable, it's a nice song. I think it breaks up the album so well too. Like, listening through the album when I first bought it, it seemed kind of frantic (In a good way) until Dear, then Dear kind of brings the pace down, and then Images just brings down the tempo altogether.

As for the comparisons with BTBAM, I can see where people are coming from, and whilst they'll never be as good as BTBAM, they are still very good.

I heard the song Let Oceans Lie and thought this kind of sounded like a younger BTBAM without as much technicality. Then I heard this song, and all I can say is: really? They band has so much skill and they settle to write a predictable, gay-ass piece of shit called a ballad. The ending doesn't even help, it only makes it worse. I'm sad to say I ever liked a band that tried to fuse deathcore with blink 182. This really just ruined my day

@SeverTheSky89 if you think about it this is exactly how btbam started out too. they released a solid album with shevvanel take two which, IMO is a great song, but just doesn't belong where it was on the album. i'm not hating on my own videos haha, but ii4887 has a point

The difference between btbam and this band is that btbam are much better songwriters and are much more creative. This song is very predictable and boring, as is half the stuff this band writes. It was interesting the first song, but all their songs sound very similar. btbam's songs are all different and have varying sounds and styles

@blindtrummis It's not like this stuff is the only stuff I listen to. I uploaded this album because at the time I didn't find any other videos with Let Oceans Lie. I also listen to avant garde, prog metal, indie, shoegaze, some rap, anything. But most deathcore/ metalcore is very enjoyable

or you guys can just not diss the sheer musicianship of these guys. so they arent as progressive as btbam, but they are their own style. i honestly have not heard anything like what these guys have, and cant get enough of it. guitar work in this song is sooo fluid and solid. why chastise someone for producing what THEY love. its not about you, its what they want.

At first listen, and I've had this on repeat for a while now, it sounds like B, F#, G#m in standard for the verse with the intro picking the B barre chord but I'm not 100% on that but see if it works for you and let me know
