We have lost around 40-50 Abrams to IEDs that are made out of things like 500 lb russian bombs and shit like that, but out of the 40-50 we have lost only about 2 or 3 of the crewmen have died.

that is very true..we know the effectiveness of the abrams in combat against other tanks..i read somewhere in desert storm the only m1a2 lost was from friendly fire..no enemy tank destroyed one.
I think the leopard 2 is better all around tank. but when comparing who would win a duel between leopard 2's and m1A2's it is simply who is the faster veteran crew. If either of the beasts hit each other that tank is dead.
Im happy as long as our allied tanks never test which is better against each other ;)

so i think they were hitting buildings that were the terrorist were using as cover.
i have been to afgan and we couldnt just shoot at buildings for no reason and as far as i know they cant do that in iraq either

Well the Iraqi army uses surplus USMC camouflage. It's hard to see the weapons those two are holding, they could very well be contractors or mercenaries if they're holding HK416s.

actually, if the DU is exposed then you may have a problem, but as long as the armor is intact theres no threat. now... if youre on the recieving end of a DU round... you got bigger problems... (according to the EU, if youre in a vehicle that gets hit with a DU round, you have a 50% greater chance of dying of lung cancer by the age of 75....... personally, i say gratz on makin it that far after getting hit with that round ^.^)

We changed their government to be more democratic, yes, and the people could not be more happy about it there
