The only real problem with the way Cameron put this together is the frame rate. Films of the 1910's used hand-cranked cameras, and were rarely shot at a frame rate of greater than 14 - 18 fps. All of the motion in this piece was at a "realistic" frame rate of 24 fps, but to look more authentic, it should have been shot at a lower frame rate so that the action would look more "sped up," in keeping with the technology of the time.

If I had to travel back in time to when the Titanic struck the Iceberg, and that I could take 2 people with me, I would bring Dr. Robert Ballard and James Cameron so that they can see how the ship sank and get more clues as to how the great ocean liner went down.
@gaarafan5555 the tv didnt come around until the fifties, in order to watch a news reel in 1912 one had to go to the nickelodeon (theatre) and watch it there like if it was a movie. I should know, my grandma was alive at the time.

@killaflame1234 He is a liar. There are no Titanic-survivors left, you're really late. The last survivor died on May 31, 2009. The baby survivor was two months old when the Titanic went down.

@merocks10 No all 2,200 Titanic-people are gone. I know the Titanic from in and outside. Millvina Dean was the very last Titanic-survivor, there is nobody left.

@merocks10 That you found the wrong information on the internet doesn't say anything. It is hard to believe, but there are really no Titanic survivors left. There were only 700 survivors from the 2,200people. 1,500 past away in the ocean.

@merocks10 dennis is right. there are no titanic survivors left. my grandmother elisabeth sarah heuschen was on titanic's sistership in 1933 as a 10 year old child. i cant say if she is a olympic survivor since that ship was broken up in 1934 or something

I would've taken some mattresses out of the first class staterooms, and thrown them overboard for victims to use as rafts.
Bed materials and matresses float, and there was one for every person aboard. There was time to save a good dozen people that way.

If I had to travel back in time to when the Titanic struck the Iceberg, and that I could take 2 people with me, I would bring Dr. Robert Ballard and James Cameron so that they can see how the ship sank and get more clues as to how the great ocean liner went down.

@gaarafan5555 the tv didnt come around until the fifties, in order to watch a news reel in 1912 one had to go to the nickelodeon (theatre) and watch it there like if it was a movie. I should know, my grandma was alive at the time.
