It is a dead-lift whether it is Sumo style of conventional it is a dead-lift. Is the form good ah I would say if he stopped and didn't allow the weight I would be impressed more on that fact bouncing or not if he didn't puke once the camera went off, accolades to him. I would have puked my guts outs from lactic acid built up.
@MerkabaStar You studied the deadlift for 15 years and went to school for it?? Where are YOUR videos? Its funny to me all these negative people criticising others for their work behind the comforts of a computer. Perhaps you should sharpen your study skills and study the video. There is no bouncing. It's ok. I think I get it, the feeling your feeling while watching this video, it's probably a feeling of inadequacy.
@soolmaz1 and yes I know its sumo, but its not dead if its bounced halfway through. Makes it way easier. Get reset and lose the momentum. But of course guys just like numbers
Check out his most current video posted by critical bench. He recently broke the record in his very first power lifting meet for bench press in his weight class. He competed at RAW Unity Championships and is now ranked 17th in the USA for Raw bench and 29th in the entire world. Be expecting A LOT more out of this new comer!
Wow, really have to be strong and have great endurance to lift that much weight that many times. This is great training. Heavy weight, but not extremely heavy for this guy, go until you can't do any more. What do people think about doing the same thing, EXCEPT exploding on the lift, then putting weights down in a controlled manner, maximum work both going up and down, no bouncing? Guy is an animal. Ciao!

405 for 25 reps only? pfffffff what a weak sauce.
Seriously this dude is a fucking beast! The first time I deadlifted 405 for ONE rep, I literally passed out.

@MerkabaStar harder than a normal deadlift, it's taking more of your leg muscle out of the movement.
Alar1115 1 year ago
@Alar1115 Harder doesn't mean anything. Its not dead if you're bouncing and using my momentum, my point.
