I have more experience with both than I ever care to have had. I blew up two 350s and, one was rebuilt with less than 50k. I am not hard on engines, either. I was just cruising at 70mph when it started knocking and that was the end of it. It didnt blow, but i didnt give it the chance. Took out both rod bearings on the second rod journal from the front. Never again will I mess with one of those! Had about the same deal with 318s except the worst one chewed up its main bearings. What a noise!
