This is one of the reason I strongly dislike cats, and prefer to own dogs. Cats will hate your guts no matter how much you love them. Dogs will generally love people even when they're abused, so it's hard to anger one to the point of hate.

@obfg2 Sometimes nothing, my cat hates every single boy I bring home by rule haha, I think it's a terratorial/protective thing. She reacts just like this cat except maybe a little less extreme. I've also had a cat who just didn't like me at all and would react the same way to me and only me (even though I'm a nice owner and love all my pets). IDK. All cats have different personalities.

Well your taunting the poor thing...He looked like he gave you a chance with the finger on top of the chair, but then you just dashed it at him...animals are very effected to high stimuli so in essence they have linear thought and cannot comprehend "pretend or joking around" so when you dash or make quick movements like that...then they instinctively perceive that as a threat......Want the cat to like you? I had a cat named Peaches. She was an orang tabby. :) She used to snort like that too when one of my other cats got to close to her. She was a big sweet heart to others though... lol
