@orbb24 Perhaps there should be a rule that a person carrying a gem cannot use a hook. @YooHoo242 has a point in that after Lewis got the gem, there was no way for 3 of the members to even chase him, since he's not only faster, but obstacles are useless at slowing him down. If he were unable to use the hook, the opposing team would actually have a really good chance of chasing him down by using their hook, thus adding more dynamic of needing to protect the gem carrier all the way back.

I don't think either team should should start off with a hook. Once you got the gem, you got out of there so fast that the other team could not have caught up to you. You have a huge advantage over 3 other people on the opposite team, and if the 1 person with the hook on the opposite team dies, then the chances of them being able to get back them gem, if you have it, is next to none. It would be more fair for everyone if no one started off with a hook.

@YooHoo242 It may be more fair but it also may not. I see it as controlling your power weapon Halo. If you lose control of the power weapon (sniper, rockets, etc) you put yourself at a big disadvantage and need to learn to be more careful. Same idea here. If you lose your dual hook then you need to learn to be more careful. It is just a dual hook, you aren't invincible. It also makes for fun gameplay. Fun gameplay is a must.

@orbb24 It's fun for the person that has a hook, but it isn't like a weapon in Halo. 1 person on each team starts w/ one, unlike in Halo. And I agree w/ @tjcampai that the person w/ the hook shouldn't be able to carry the gem. There was no possible way that the other team could have caught up to Lewis when he got the gem, and that was the fault of 1 person on the opposite team for losing their hook, and that would have been the only way they could have countered that move by Lewis.

That was a great game, cant wait to see game 2.

I was just waiting for someone to place a block preventing them from getting to you, like lewis finally did at the end. The one thing that I would have recomended in that situation would to have had some glass on you. Since none of them had hammers on them there would have been no chance of them being able to get to you while you got the gem. Sadly lewis dropped all his glass when he died earlier.
