How strange is it to see Robert Fleck trying to dissuade the ref from sending Glenn Hysen off? Modern day players would sprint to him miming the card gesture. Just shows you how far football has fallen.

Was about to say the exact same thing.
They're probably fitter and technically better today but I'd prefer these late 80s early 90s footballers over the ones of today. Gamesmanship and simulation is ruining the sport.

@felx81 As commendable as Robert Fleck's behaviour was, I honestly don't know how he thought he could do anything to prevent Glenn Hysen being given both yellow cards. Both cards had to be given and Hysen had to be sent off. I'm saying that as a Liverpool fan.
