Well with the 3DS coming out people have been rumoring(it can be true)that an SSBB sequel will come on the 3DS as the first portable Super Smash Bros game so if it is true Nintendo will get a gold metal.

That mario scares me.And I hope the wii successor comes relatively soon, but we had to wait FOREVER for the Super Smash Bros Brawl after the wii came out (November 19, 2006) for wii and (March 9, 2008) for brawl. so even if it comes out next year then that is still 3 years till it comes out following trends.

Actually, nintendo usually took the same approach with super mario platform games, super mario 64, super mario sunshine and then super mario galaxy. Now nintendo is breaking the trend by releasing a sequel(super mario galaxy 2) This proves that nintendo will make a smash bros sequal on the wii if they think it will earn them major dough

One thing I'd really like to see (if Nintendo's next console supports this) is a six-player Smash Bros. Yes, it would be insane, but hey that's what we love about this series isn't it?

As for my newcomers list, it's Isaac, Little Mac, Starfy, Saki, Custom Robo, Ridley Samurai Goroh, Waluigi, Knuckle Joe, Krystal, Bubbles (from Clu Clu Land), Meowth, Tails, and Mega Man. Also, Mewtwo returns from Melee.

I think the next smash bros. will be the perfect smash bros., 64 was the prototype, melee was v1, brawl was v2, and melee and brawl are at opposite ends of the playing feild, so this next one better be perfect (3rd times the charm eh?) assuming nintendo doesn't drop one of it's biggest selling titles so easily :)

As a note, most hardcore brawl players hate the smash ball and normally dont play with it on. On that note the number one most hated thing is the random tripping. And on THAT note only Nintendo Characters are put into SSB, Snake was on the nintendo system thats why hes there
