My brother's, me, and my wife were at this show, great show. Noblesville, Indiana, Peace. It was a cold and rainy day with fatalities on the expressway, we saw a bad wreck, but as Phil Lesh sang Box of Rain just before dark the sun started shining, that's what I remember.

I have been a Deadhead since 1970 and saw countless shows. It never ceases to amaze me that Phil Lesh, who has perfect pitch and is an amazing musician, is such a bad singer.
Oh, I agree that it sounds fine. I enjoy hearing Phil, but I think it's pretty much accepted that he is not much of a singer. Which of course does not matter because he is such an incredible musician.
So great! I saw them at Saratoga this run on Jerry's birthday. I can't wait for the Garden show this year! April 25 is gonna rock New york like never before
if you were talking to me about wondering who the guitartist is, i just wanted to know. jerry is dead, so i just might want to know who the hell the guitarist is now, not have some doushe try to insult me with some word that nobody knows what it means
CR& S sounds like crap with Phil singing it. I havent heard Phil singing since I saw a ton of shows in the mid 80's like Box of Rain, Tom Thumb, and Rev Hamstring Blues. If this is how Phil is singin now, I think I'll stick to seeing Ratdog. Plus, its played way too fast
i was at this show & remember the electricity going throught the pit at deer creek when they broke into the golden road.. whatashow. boston night one was best, though
i agree i'm not a fan of phil singing, i personally think he lacks emotion in his singing, on the other side bob weir/ jerry garcia are full of emotion, seeing phil a friends i can say that i never stopped dancing, BUT seeing ratdog many times i can say that bob weir/ ratdog play with so much emotion my mouth was dropped and i teard down my face( and i never stopped danceing)
THIS IS COLD RAIN & SNOW!!!! How'd You Mess That One Up? Haha.
If I Was Phil Lesh, I Would Never Sing Again. I Love The Dead So Much, And He Does Tremendous Bass Work, But He Should Never Sing. The Only Time He Was Good Was On The Studio Version Of "Box Of Rain".

Phil is a terrible singer... no doubt. but with jackie greene and larry c. on guitars they are a way better band than ratdog by FAR.
plus phil still songs great on the bass.
