  • i used to think WWF was totally 4 real

  • alf rocks bring him back he talks a lot of sense than these politicians

  • Have they released any of these on DVD? Great stuff.

  • @maxwedge66 These are all readilly available on DVD. Quite pricey tho..

  • How things have changed in such a short time. Tony Both`s Daughter is now a muslim convert that supports a terrorist group like Hamas and said she might start wearing a full burka.

    Fucking backward leftists

  • A million times better than any of the so called comedy that's on the box these days, rock on Alf!

  • In a America they have all digital TV and the only way to watch is buy a digital TV or get cable like bloody Comcast. This all happened when fuckin Bush was president. I watch BBC America cause they have the best shows...

  • ...all all the points raised still seem pertinent to today....thats what makes great writing...grew up watching this...great show...

  • I don't mean to insult anyone, but as an American, the idea of needing a licence to watch TV sounds utterly ridiculous.

  • @kittyprydekissme It's for viewing BBC 1. They don't show advertisements, so it's upto the public to fund them (!)

  • @FilmFan1982 Yes, I know that. I'm just saying that to a foreigner, it sounds like a very strange way to do that. (We do have pay TV here, as well, but if you don't want to pay, you can still watch the commercial channels for free.)

  • @FilmFan1982 Oh. And I do want to emphasize that I'm not trying to be insulting. I know we have plenty of ridiculous rules of our own here.

  • @kittyprydekissme No it's ok, us Brits have some silly things to pay for..! The TV licence covers the entire BBC network, not just BBC 1 like I said before too :)

  • @FilmFan1982 so let me get this straight. If you don't want to watch BBC 1 you don't need a TV license? I don't understand I thought you need a TV license to watch any kind of broadcast TV in the UK period

  • @njboricuaparati BBC is automatically part of UK broadcasting, so isn't optional. But you are only paying for the BBC network, as they don't show adverts so need the licence fee. So all UK TV sets must have a licence by law unfortunately :(

  • @FilmFan1982 Thanks! One more question, Lets say I move to London and I order cable TV like from Virgin or something. Will Virgin charge me the TV License fee when I order or do I have to get the license first prior to ordering cable TV service?

  • @njboricuaparati You have to get the licence first as far as I know, as BBC is part of cable TV by default :)

  • @FilmFan1982 Thanks and thanks for posting this btw! Was always curious about where the idea for "All In

    The Family" came from! Cheers!

  • @kittyprydekissme The reason we get half decent programmes on the BBC is that they are funded by viewers, the alternative is endless adverts and crap t.v.,( American style)...Cheers...

  • I grew up with this, and, as a "scouse git", I loved it and miss the show lots. Younger people are surprised when I tell them that Tony Booth (scouse git), is Cherie Blairs dad. If they put it on "Gold" it would be a hit-and I mean with all thinking people regardless of race or creed.

  • @daveyden1 They dernt put it on,because those of us that watched it first time around, knew alf was a bigoted sexist fool.Even warren when approached in the street by thugs saying nice one alf,Would reply Jhonny speight wrote it to take the piss out of arseoles like you! but i agree with you it should be aired, prime time

  • @TheLatchford with you on that friend, not sure it was the right way to change bigoted views,(including my family's), in the 60's, but, thinkers everywhere know where the humour was coming from and those of us left still able to use their own mind I would like to wish a very happy new year,( even the southern softies I am now related to via my wife in this strange place that Kent is!)

  • @daveyden1 HAPPY XMAS TO YOU MATE BLOODY SOUTHERN SOFTY HA HA HA HA ,AS ALF WOULD SAY

  • I bet they wouldn't show this on tv now adays :(

  • @HarvestStation They don't!

  • Rene! Rene!

  • Bring back alf he sort out this country

  • @MsFanmail

Yep! You could always count on Alf to say things how they are :)

  • Great stuff....check out "The Ballad of Una Stubbs...Don Woods" on youtube.

It says it all...she is and always was a delight.

  • we could do with alf being about now god bless him

  • A very funny series its a shame its not repeated on tv anymore but I suspect its not classed as being politically correct in this day and age

  • @Dcj58199t4 really? family guy and south park are very politically incorrect shows and they're both popular

  • A very funny series its a shame its not repeated on tv anymore but I suspect its not classed as being politically correct in this day and age

  • lol this is an awesome show.
