  • @MRV1939 She is SYRIAN singer of Armenian descent.^^

And we love her, we love Armenia and people of Armenia.^^

    That disturbs you ? ^^

  • @MrInssy . you think. you and the Syrian people love Armenians. i was in Syria inthe summer of 1980 . and i visited the site in Dare-Zore where 1.5 million Armenians were killed by the Turks. and every Syrian knows that.yet Syria dosen`t recognise the Armenian Genocide. what a shame!

  • not many americans like arab music but i love it......our minds should not be clouded by mindless prejustice....embrace cultures and share love.....

  • @cmkephart1 words of wisdom my friend.... thanks.

  • @detroitjeeper is this poetry ??? if yes are these pre-islamic poetry

  • @ille24 no its not, it is actually sung in Syrian-Lebanese Arabic dialect, not old formal Arabic.

  • @cmkephart1 i might not agree with the Arabic beliefs, but every culture has amazing music you just have to look for it and not be close minded.

  • @alienhacker51 what exactly do you mean by Arabic beliefs??? because the structure of the Arabic community consists of Christians, Jews, Muslims, Druze, African Arabs, White Arabs....

  • @alienhacker51

please agree with our beliefs we cant live without u

  • @cmkephart1 1 Love from Colorado :)

  • What makes me SAD, you all arguing!!! Listen to the music!!! detroitjeeper, where did you find those beautiful images???

  • it's magical. i really liked those beautiful images. also i enjoy the marvelous voice is glad to here things like this among the noisy life nowadays.

  • beautiful!!

  • The Ashkanazis need to stop pretending they belong in the middle east, or more appropriately in the Arab world.

  • @saqib09 i wish people would stop saying things like this, when they clearly haven't looked at any evidence...Sacha Baren Cohen = ashkenazi jew....if he doesn't look semitic, you must be blind. They still share a large majority of semitic y-chromosomes, it's only the women who don't have semitic dna. which means Middle easten men went to europe and married local women, then cut off the bloodlines...learn the truth for once.

  • She reminds me of Amy Lee... Very beautiful.

  • @TheKurisu90 man it's Feirouz she's A GREAT legend it's like if you make a comparaison between Jimi Hendrix and my little boyjust because they both play guitar

  • peace

  • Comment removed

  • @12343590 no it doesn't, this song was first performed by Fairuz a Lebanese singer (ARABIC) and the song is from a Syrian folklore, so it really has nothing to do with ancient Israelite heritage..... take care =)

  • @detroitjeeper o sorry, my bad. i love it, i wonder where i can purchase this song

  • @detroitjeeper Arab and Israelite music sound alike anyway since they're both Semitic people and kissing cousins.

  • @mjay22 If you're talking about Mizrahi Jews then you're right there are similarities, but not Ashkenazi Jews since they come from Europe, and the problem is those Ashkenazis claim the Arabian heritage for themselves. really makes me sad.

  • @detroitjeeper srry m8...but the ashkenazi Jews are original from the Novgorod Empire(modern Russia). They are also the ones who are behind the illuminati.

And ...the word Nazi comes from AshkeNazi...These Ashkenazi bankers where Adolfs money givers, but that is another story.

Btw...can you give me some links for traditional arabic music....this song is good.

But the modern music from there is not my taste.Actually i'm more into metal and indusrial lolz.

But i really like this too..peace

  • @detroitjeeper: i agree with you. AshkaNazi have no right to our semitic land or heritage.

  • @detroitjeeper What makes ME sad is how bothered you are about it.

  • @ArgoUseful If some people claim your heritage and culture to themselves, I think you have the right to be bothered about it... please tell me if I'm wrong.

  • @detroitjeeper They're jealous for some reason - why care?

  • @detroitjeeper no you are not, but he/she looks from israel or jwesh person, and this kind of people always take something is not for them, like palstain and many kind of food and music from arabic culture, because they don't have any culture but the (matzo ball soup) and the crimes

  • @mjay22 the North Americans after what they have done to the great heritage of the natives , still , they did not claim that the heritage of native Americans is theirs!!!

Ashkenazim you are not Arab or Semitic and you will never be ...

  • I could listen to this for eternity and beyond.

  • @luckykrazy music lovers are always welcome.. btw your voice is good man you should work on that....

  • @detroitjeeper Thank you for the compliment. And I'm not just a music lover, I've always loved the middle eastern music genre and the Farsi language in particular since I was a kid. :)

  • Wonderful realy

Very beautiful song and amazing pictures

    Thank you very much!

    Ana

  • ENGLISH TRANSLATION FOR "Ya Mayla Al Ghoson" = "You Who Are Leaning on the Tree Branches"

You who are leaning on the tree branches

    My beautiful dark skin

Waving our roses on the water

The fresh breath is blowing and changing our life like magic

The lover has not been given water

The appointments and promises have not come

The Roses of Love need water

You, dark and beautiful, leaning on the tree branches

  • @mjay22 even if you translate it! it will not sound like the arabic version! arabic langauge has much meaning then English! believe it my friend.

  • @AkamaSec and the translation is not spot on if I may add.

  • @mjay22 It reminds me of the song of Solomon and if it is true that it is Syrian folk lore as well ,then

it must be a myth relating to Adonis and Aphrodite(Astarte).I would really appreciate if you could give

me a complete translation. I think a song like this is older then history itself.

  • @mjay22 Thanks for the translation.

  • The original singer for this song is Fairuz isn't it?

  • @mjay22 right.. its a song for Fairuz

  • This is a very beautiful song - it makes me feel that I'm in a lost paradise within the gardens of magical Alhambra Palace. Where can I find the lyrics for this song? Do you have the English translation for this song, detroitjeeper?

  • great art work!!!!
