Thank you for the upload. brought back so many great memories from my childhood. Michael was a great man. R.I.P. Michael, you had a wonderful vision :)
whoever is behind LHOTP they did a fantastic job and created really something wonderful that can teach us what counts in life. watching it is like a dream in a fucked up reality. thanks landon for your work
Good job, much better than another I just saw. In case people get confused, he did not die on the series, The scene of Caroline at the grave is of her infant son that died and his name was Charles Frederick Ingalls Jr.
Gosh I almost had a heart attack, thinking he had died on the show and here I have every episode.. whew false alarm.. I couldn't take any more bad news .. Michael happy birthday in Heaven tomorrow.. Halloween is stupid you are beautiful! .. dina
I can watch Little House all day and night, watch all the seasons and then start from the begining again. Never gets old. Those series are timless. Charles ingalls was my rolemodel, since i first saw these series, Michael Landon, you bring out the best in people, we are blessed for having you in our lives, i'm sure that even the heaven is brighter with you in it. R.I.P
This video was good. It brought a tear to my eye. I so loved Michael Landon and cried for DAYS after he passed. Do you know that him and Karen Grassel (Caroline) really couldn't stand each other? You wouldn't know it watching them during filming. Michael also spent some time in some of the buildings smoking weed with another director.
I CRIED LIKE A BABY WATCHING THIS... I USE TO WATCH THIS SHOW AND BANANZA WITH MY FATHER GROWING UP. I LOST MY FATHER A FEW YR'S AFTER HIS DEATH. WE NEED MORE LOVING FAM VALUE SHOWS LIKE THIS....
I AM SURE MANY OF YOU WILL AGREE !! ,,, I REFUSE TO LET OUR COUNTRY GO TO HELL !! - JOEY - JQ'S BOYFRND
@courtfarm1 His mother was Irish American Catholic, so technically Eugene Orowitz was not authentically Jewish by birth. To be so, his mom would have to be Jewish. YahSure it's a technicality. And he was brought up Jewish. A glick auf dir!
In July, it will be 20 years since we lost Michael Landon. I was weeks away from giving birth to my oldest daughter , who turns 20 on July 18th. I will never forget the day that I heard ML had passed....I was in the dining room of my house and had to waddle to the TV as I was 9 months pregnant...I overheard the news that he had died. A heartbreaking day for me, as I grew up watching all of his shows.
oooo my god, why I always miss my childhood when I heard again and again the sound-track of a LHOP film? maybe there is something wrong with me because I m not american, i m indonesian ... but I confess that this is my real favorite vid ...God bless for you all cast
@mae911 I have been also wondering because I remember that Michael Landon,Charles Ingals, was playing after that his wife left from the serie...What a Great Serie!
I'm Indonesian. Grew up in the 80s and was exposed to this show by our then only (national) tv channel. Always watched every episode. Learned a lot from this character. Now a father of 2, every time I feel like I bear a burden, I remind myself of this one person, remember what he does as a husband and father, and see this video. Makes me feel better. Makes me feel sad, too, losing him ...
The fact that you are able to relate to my video is a joy to hear. And any man that looks up to the Charles Ingalls character Michael Landon portrayed is surely on the right track as to being a good husband and father.
@mae911 Good to know that out there (I mean out here) there are nice people who make efforts to upload videos that are meant to inspire, teach, educate, improve, and change others and their lives in good ways. In my religion of Islam, this is what is known as "advising each other in truth and patience." Apparently people of all religions are capable of this. Thus let's learn from each other despite all our differences...
You sure created a sad atmosphere in this video. I grew up with "Little House on the Prairie" and I still enjoy watching it. And someday I want my children to grow up with this series too.
I think all who have known this series, especially women, are looking for own Charles Ingalls.. They all played their part, with love, truth and sincerity. A most wonderful show. Thankyou to the writers, as well. Their understanding of life, shines through.
I do miss Michael. What a great Writer and Producer. Not just "Little House on the Prairie"...but "Highway To Heaven" was a cert on TV as I was growing up! you're a very clever person , the way you capturered the emotion of the scene with the music....brilliant . can't tell you in words what this means to me...brings back childhood mems.
So beautiful and emotional to watch. I've watched this video of yours many many times since you first posted. Just had to leave another comment saying what an excellent job you did, Lauren.
Okay I don't remember that scene what episode is it from has to be one they cut out on Hallmark. Is it from when she thought she was pregnant again. But it ended up she was done having babies.
Making me cry again. I loved Michael Landon. If he was anything like the person he portrayed in Little House on the Prairie, he was truly an angelic guy. God bless him and all those you loved him.
Yes, the grave belongs to the baby (Charles Frederick Ingalls) who died in season 1. Although this scene is from the episode "A Most Precious Gift" in season 4.
