I was in high school when the original came out. IMHO, this version is just as good. But the reason I'm saying this is because Jojo sounds way too much like Coko singing this. Even their inflections on the lyrics are similar. If I had heard this song out of context, I would have thought SWV had released an updated version, or this had been a remix from back in the day that I had missed.
