Fuck Tarantino. Natural Born Killers was an amazing feature film. It was like nothing else. The most balls out-movie since A Clockwork Orange. It's totally Oliver Stone's direction that makes it work. Shocking to think that he got a big studio like Warner Bros. to fund and distribute it.
never knew about this movie...seen the cover for it with woody and the shades....came on last night and started watching it good movie......funny thing is juliette lewis about a year or so before played in a movie with another crazy murderer traveling across the nation as her boyfriend/husband and kind of had the same role.
@TheJabberwock I for one loovvee True Romance its really good and I loved Christian Slaters part in the film. I've always had a thing for the "id honestly do anything for love" type of movies specially the grimy ones like Natural Born Killers. If you like this movie I'm sure you'd like True Romance. :]
I think this movie should go up there at number one because the movie shows how we americans let the media feed us the crap to keep us tuned in. A satire on media and how we make serial killers celiberities. like Charles Manson, Ed Gein(texas chainsaw massacre, silence of the lambs, and psycho inspiration) or even Scott peterson. and the other case that is going on right now about the little girl.
@TheJabberwock You realize Quentin Tarantino hates this move right? He has only seen about 10 min of it, and he hated it. He came up with the story, and most of it got changed so that made him hate this movie. I might be wrong though
@thebuttbat23 He probably wouldn't even consider redoing that movie. I bet the plot is generally the same. Oliver Stone probably just drained out Tarantino's poetry. However, I would like it very much if Tarantino re-rewrote it and directed it. I think most of the reason he didn't like it was because he didn't direct it. I don't think he thinks too highly of True Romance either, even though I've never heard of Tony Scott altering the script any. It wouldn't do anything for his career.
@TheJabberwock He hasn't directed any "Bonnie & Clyde" style romance films. He's written two and since then there's only been Pumpkin & Honey Bunny in his own films. I think that's interesting.
@TheJabberwock The film wouldn't be as good if Tarantino did it, and this is coming from a huge Tarantino fan. Oliver Stone added poetry where Tarantino didn't

I am so happy to have the DVD. I was 8 (Turned 9 in December) years old at the time this movie was released in theaters in 1994.
