  • still sounds like a guitar, beautiful tone though

  • hi , awesome demo ! where do you set the pog knobs to achieve the organ type sound ? thanks !!!

  • Hi Will

  • o.O

  • nice volume pedal. it doesn't squeak like others do.

  • Fantastic sound! Very dreamy, very soothing..!

  • Awesome riffs. Reminds me of the Mars Volta when I heard 'em live.

  • Great sound. Get a tripod. ;)

  • i am a tripod.

  • Oooh, barricuda.

  • i have those pants!

  • best pants evar.

  • Nice man, where did you buy the pants ?!

  • I got 'em for christmas.

  • Hey great vid!

Silly question. I've been trying to get similar sounds with my gear, but I just can't get it quite right. I was wondering if you used any certain chord voicings that help you get better organ sounds.

  • What kind of gear do you have? maybe i can give you some pointers.

But as for my playing, I'm playing thirds. Minor and major, and sometimes with sharp fives or something.

  • As far as Octave, delay, and volume go I'm using a Boss OC-3, DD-6, and a standerd Ernie Ball Vol. Other effects I use are the EHX Small Stone, Gig FX Chopper, Dunlop Hendrix Wah, Boss C-3, and a Boss OS-2. My boss octave pedal doesnt do the octave up sound that I think the POG does so I'm wondering if that is part of the issue. Thanks for your reply

  • Yeah, the problem is probably the lack of a micro-pog. The OC-3 isn't polyphonic, which means it can only really handle one note. So yes, a micro-pog or better yet, a pog, would help alot for this.

Other tips are to turn the tone completely down on your guitar and use the bridge pickup.

Set the DD-6 at about 699 ms, and turn the effect level down some. Also use a little bit of small stone.

  • I'm gonna give that a shot as soon as I get the chance, thanks! Just a correction though, the OC-3 does have a polyphonic mode, but it's only for an octave (or two octaves) lower unlike the POG.

  • Great demo!

  • thank you!

  • What settings are you using on the dd-20?

  • feedback: noon

    level: full

    mode: modulation

delay time: 666 or something around there

  • What are you wearing??

  • my jam-jams.

  • cool-beans champasaurus.

    shubam.
