Tbh, Order of Ecclesia and Castlevania I&II were harder/more annoying than Circle of the Moon. I played CotM first and only after this the Nes ones, but still, this game doesn't qualify for the title hardest Castlevania game.

This was probably my favorite song to appear in any handheld game. Castlevania has some amazing songs and this game is standout from the series as far as having a perfect sountrack goes.

@Shindemirudo Well of course it's more refined but matter of opinion is where "way better" comes into question.

I have a soft spot for this version because this was the first Castlevania I played and the GBC music just really sticks in my mind because of it's simplistic sounds that set the tone for what you're doing.

I think all the songs in this version were really nice because they weren't too hardcore or dancy. The refined version of this song almost sounds like AniRave music.

I really think this is one of the best versions, not because it's the best reiteration of Vampire Killer, but because it really went somewhere with it and changed the theme around a good bit. It works so well for the Overlook Tower.

You shoot up to the stairs using your Roc's feather, clamber up them and you are welcomed by this awesome music. You ascend to the top greeted by Dark armors and that devil in the corridor, finnaly you arrive at the throne room, ready to destroy whats lurking behind the door. And the best and most satisfing boss battle in this entire game takes place. WIN

At least Circle of the Moon had some seriously hardcore fights as well as kickass music. Aria of Sorrow had a much better character system, but the bosses were a joke. Harmony of Dissonance was alright, but the soundtrack sucked compared to the other 2 GBA releases.

I didn't really like this game. It would of been better if his whip moved in a similar way that Julius and Richter does and it didn't have magic cards (It took me a long time to figure out how to use them) I still beat the game though (I kind of cheated since there is a way to use any spell you want.)
