i used to smoke weed but it made me depressed. like i'd smoke it alone cuz none of my friends wanted to smoke it, and when i was high i'd think about all the negative things in my life and get suicidal. the weird thing is i'm the complete opposite when im sober. weed is fucked.

Yes, my use is mainly medicinal, but the lines drawn between medicinal and social use are not so definite.. especially in my case. Prior to discovering this herb, I was hardly able to function in a social environment. My anxiety was debilitating. Cannabis causes anxiety for some people (probably due to the legal storm clouds that follow smokers in this country) but for me, it has been a life-saver. of vaporized cannabis isn't nearly as lethargic as smoked cannabis. The sedative/relaxing effect is much less pronounced. I like to vaporize in the day, and smoke a water pipe (cleaner smoke than a dry pipe) at night. Cannabis is also edible!
This is all so controversial.. I hope I can at least show some people that this herb is no scourge comparable to any of the MANY dangerous and addictive substances that are illegal in the USA. Pot-Smokers don't deserve to be ridiculed.

Well I know people that also do ganja and they're not that bad off. I know one guy whos getting his masters and works in pharmaceuticals(actual not on the streets) and he eats them like turnips or callaloo. I actually think that is the safest way. He says also that you get higher when you eat rather than smoke it. I've been drenched in growing up in a house and neighborhood of chronic.***

*** I know what it does for chronic asthma being blessed with a neighbor who burned it in the house for me when I was younger, I just don't like how some people take advantage or abuse this Medicine of the earth...I also know of another guy who hung himself from being deeply depressed from smoking Indo. He was depressed before and therefore depressed through his usage. Weed made his life worse than it already was by getting caught with way more that 60LBS.

Yes he grew all of this himself. I have no idea how long he was in the joint for but after coming out he was jacked up...he couldn't get a job because of his record and they always wanted a drug test (results-postive). His family shunned him and called him a disgrace...he started hanging with the wrong crowd because that's all that called him family...I mean just watch what you do man! Life is precious... Your mind/spirit is much more valuable than anything else!

Just becasue you don't see it doesn't mean it's not happening careful what you put in your body. I don't smoke but I suggest you do it less often than you usually do. Kills your lungs faster than cigaretts if you smoke it too much. Love and blessings...

It makes sense since its active chemical (THC) kills cancer cells on contact. One study says cannabis contains more tar. What the hell is tar? Cigarette tar causes cells to mutate; Cannabis tar makes you a little phlegmmy. To say cannabis is more damaging than cigarettes is ignorance! Research it!

Okay I'll give you the benifit that it might not kill your lungs faster than cigs but I stand by my word to ease up on smoking. There is no way that smoking anything is better than smoking nothing. People need to learn to get high off of life rather than resulting to smoking crap from neighbors or growing it illegally. Weed messes up ALOT of people's lives! yeah, smoking crap does sound like it could mess up ones life. High-quality organic cannabis is non-toxic and harmonious with the human body and mind. Lazy, self-destructive people have access to this herb too, and it makes it easy to view the situation from the convenient angle that its the weed's fault. I've smoked regularly for many years. None of the negative stereotypes have manifested in my life; Likely because I never expected them to! This herb has always been our ally.
